"What about this one?" I hear Piper say that morning, she is trying to help Riley decide on things for the wedding
"look at the price Piper! Not a chance" She said I gave her a look to which she rolled her eyes
"Let me see Pipes" I said, Piper smiled and showed me some centre pieces
"I like them" I replied making Riley glare at me
"I'm sure we can find it cheaper" Riley answered
"Do you like them Ri?" I asked and she shrugged
"the page was tabbed and this specific item was highlighted" Piper said earning a look from Riley, if looks could kill, Pipes would not be making it to this wedding
"then we shall get them! First part of wedding planning, Doneeee" I teased
"James no, we'll find something cheaper" Riley answered trying to kick me away, I chuckled grabbing her legs pulling her over to me
"We'll get those ones, end of discussion" I replied before placing my lips against hers, completely forgetting my little sister was there too

A few days passed and Piper left to go back on her tour, leaving Riley and I to our selves, A-Troupe were not due to start for another week
After much deliberation I managed to persuade Riley to come out looking at things for the wedding, she is so concerned on price, but I want her to loosen up a little bit
"What about your dad's old suit? I really liked that one" Riley said trying to hold back her laughter
"Which one?" I asked
"The powder blue one with ruffles" she smiled making me roll my eyes
"nice try Ri" I chuckled picking up an all black suit? What about this? Then the boys can wear ones with white shirts?" I asked, Riley nodded and smiled
"I like that one" she said looking it over thoroughly
"What tie's are we getting them?" She asked
"Well what colour theme are we having at the wedding?" I asked
"I don't know?" she laughed, we clearly haven't thought this through that well
"How about baby blue like my dad's suit" I winked at her making her laugh
"Yes! that is perfect" She smiled, I was joking but she is most certainly serious
"Really Ri?" I asked
"Hey something blue, something borrowed and something new!" She teased making me chuckle and kiss her

"Have you thought about who you are going to ask?" Riley asked as we finished in the suit shop, I bought 4 blue ties, one darker for the best man the other three baby blue per Riley's request
"I hadn't really, but I guess I would ask Eldon to be my best man" I replied
"But what about West?" Riley asked
"West would for sure be a groomsmen but I've known Eldon since I joined the studio, he's like a brother to me" I replied with a smile
"And the other 2?" She asked as we we were walking down the streets of New York
"I was thinking Hunter and Daniel" I suggested making her smile as she intertwined our finger, those are some of my main boys. It wouldn't be a wedding without them
"What about misses? Who are you asking?" I replied
"I have too many to chose from" She replied making me laugh
"Well Em would obviously be the Maid of honour and pipes would be a bridesmaid" She replied
"How about 2 more so that it's equal?" I asked and she sighed with a small laugh
"Michelle and Ella" She replied with a smile, I'm still so surprised that she is okay with Ella
"Sounds great to me" I replied kissing our intertwined hands
"This is all so crazy" she whispered, I chuckled
"What do you mean?" I asked
"We are getting married James" She said
"Really? I didn't have a clue" I laughed making her roll her eyes
"I love you Ri, of course I was gonna marry you" I replied kissing her cheek 

I tried to persuade Riley to go look at some wedding dresses but she is being her cliché self and won't do that with me, so we decided to go and head to get some food  
"Want to know something" Riley said looking up from her phone
"What's that" I asked putting my fork down
"It was 19 years ago today that we met" she said smiling, I chuckled and smiled back
"And look where we are now, shopping for our wedding" I smiled taking her hand
"who knew that is where we would end up" she smiled

I smiled looking over at Riley, I haven't seen her this happy in quite some time
"Why don't we have a date night tonight?" I suggest gaining her attention
"Yeah? What has brought this on?" she asked
"Let's just say it's our way of celebrating 19 years?" I offered making her smile more
"I would love to" she said finishing off her food

I had finished getting ready for out date, I don't know why this feels so weird to me. I think James and I have just gotten so used to having each other around daily that random trips to the grocery shop turning into our date
"damn" James muttered under his breath as I came and met him in the living room
"too much?"  I asked, he chuckled and made his way over to me giving me a sweet kiss
"You look beautiful" he smiled kissing me again
"If you keep kissing me, it's going to make us late to our reservations" I reminded him, he looked at me with his old smirk he used to get when anyone said a silly word to him
"I wouldn't complain" He continued to smirk, I rolled my eyes before nudging him as we walked past

The small drive to the restaurant was met with a comfortable silence with the humming of James as the radio played
It's nice for us to have the night to be just us, not the heads of the studio, not anyone's bosses, not anyone's anything. It was just us and I don't think that either of realised how much we both needed this 
"I love you" I sat looking at James as we pulled up, he smiled kissing me once more
"I love you too babe" He replied smiling once again
Through everything we have been through, I never anticipated this is where we would end up.. Part of me wants to say I'd change certain things but I don't know if I would, I feel each time helped us understand another part of each other we didn't know
