Nine

Riley 

It's been a long couple of days, we've now told everyone we wanted to, so mainly just out families. We had arrived back in New York. We wanted to stay in Toronto longer but I had that appointment, I can't believe I almost walked away from James on the worry that I had disappointed him
"You okay?" James asked coming out onto the balcony with a glass of orange juice for both of us
"Yeah" I replied looking out on the city
"Can we raise a baby in a flat?" I asked and James shrugged
"I don't see why not, obviously when they are older it might be worth moving to a house with a garden" He said wrapping an arm around me
"That means leaving Mary" I pouted making him chuckle
"I'm sure we could regularly come back to see her" He replied making me a little happier
Mary has been a huge part of my life the entire time I've lived here and she continues to be a part of our lives with James here
She is the rarest gem this City has to hold 
"I thought I heard your voices" Mary smiling coming out onto her balcony
"Hey Mary" I smiled
"Hey honey, how are things?" She asked and we both smiled, I looked at James as if I was asking if it was okay to tell her
"Actually we have some news for you" James said
"I swear if you guys eloped I would not be happy" she said crossing her arms making both of us laugh
"Quite the opposite Mary" James laughed
"We are having a baby" I smiled making Mary's eyes widen an fill with tears
"Oh my stars!" She cried 
"Can I come over and give you both a hug?" She asked making me chuckle before nodding

"nice to see your back!" Hope said hugging me, I chuckled hugging her back
"Hey Hope, I hope everything went smoothly" I asked and she nodded
"Daniel is currently working with A-Troupe" She replied, I had no idea Daniel was here
I walked in to see him working on some choreography with them, I chuckled. I remember when he hosted the A-Troupe Auditions after Internationals. It's crazy how we all always end up back in The Next Step
"Okay, 1 and a 2, 3" He called as the group started the routine, I smiled. It was perfect. No flaws at all
I walked over to him where I was welcomed with open arms
"Hey there baby mama" He teased nudging me. We had to tell him, not that we would have been able to keep it from him anyway
"How have they been?" I asked looking out at the Troupe as they continued to dance
"They are outstanding Ri, I think that this team will get you your third international win for sure!" he answered and I chuckled
"well here is to hoping" I replied making him smile
"how are you feeling now anyway?" He asked, I smiled at him
"A lot better" I replied with a sincere smile
"Good, you should have talked to us though you dummy" he chuckled hugging me from the side
"I know I know" I chuckled 
"Now go check on that baby of yours. And I'm not talking about the one in your belly" He said winking at me as James walked in

"Hey babe" I replied pecking his lips as I joined him in the office
"Hey, you okay?" He asked stressed about something
"What's up?" I asked
"Nothing I just I don't know" he said putting a folder back on the shelve
"James?" I asked stepping closer to him, he sighed pulling me into his chest
"I'm just a little overwhelmed I guess. I agreed to run Ben's class this morning and I forgot I had to teach Harry straight after. I haven't had a chance to stop yet" He rambled, I sighed placing my hands around his neck
"well you have time now, so why don't we head to the hospital now?" I smiled, he smiled back before pressing his lips against mine
"I would love that" he said placing his forehead on mine
Something tells me that our stress levels are just merely going to rise as the pregnancy continues

"Riley Bennett" A nurse called, I smiled at her to let her know it was me before rising to my feet with James in tow
"Can't wait for that to be Riley Davis" He teased wrapping his arms around my waist from behind as we walked, only to make me trip on his feet a couple times
"Alright Riley! Lovely to see you, what can we do for you today?" The Doctor asked
"Well I'm pregnant" I replied making him smile
"That's amazing news, shall we have a look? Then we should be able to work out how far along you are" He smiled, I nodded looking over at James who looked like he was on the edge of his seat
"Well you most certainly are pregnant" The Doctor chuckled, he smiled as he turned to screen to face James and I
"this is your baby" He smiled 
I looked at James who looked like he was in complete love. I loved seeing him like this, It is so beautiful to watch
"They are looking like they are around 12 weeks?" The doctor asked, I looked at James and furrowed my brow. What on earth were we doing 12 weeks ago?
Well we know what we were doing, but like was there a reason? 
"I'll get some of these printed out for you" He chuckled as James was still looking at the screen
"I'm afraid Riley I'm gonna have to take some blood, just to run some test is that okay?" The nurse asked, I nodded before turning back to James 

Everything was perfectly okay, James hadn't stopped staring at the pictures since we got them. He was well and truly in love
"I can't believe this is real" James whispered as we sat on the sofa
"Me either" I said smiling at him, he looked over at me with the widest smile he could possibly have
"I love you so damn much" He replied kissing me, I wrapped my arms around his neck as he did so
"I love you too James" I replied as he leant on my laying his head on my belly. I have a feeling that is going to be his new favourite place to be
"Can I post?" James asked looking at some photos we had taken, I smiled and nodded as I played with his hair
He was happy and he wanted to scream it from the rooftop so who was I to stop that
