"And so, I declare this the end of an era." Eon announced to the crowd of Skylanders. Members of every team were gathered around the podium Eon was speaking from. Spyro stood proudly at the front of them all with his wife and team. To his left Cynder watched Eon's speech expectantly with her hand entwined in his. On his right was a smiling Stealth Elf, her left arm in a short sling following her injury in the Lowlands.

"The end to an era of villainy," Eon continued. "The end to an era of fear. All thanks to you, the Skylanders, diligently working to bring down the greatest evildoers in Skylands all to arrive here at our goal. Every villain known to Skylands has been captured and imprisoned in Cloudcracker Prison!" A cheer erupted from the crowd. "This truly is the end of an era!" Eon loudly pronounced over the crowd's cheers. "And the beginning of a new one! An era of peace! An era of hope! And an era of safety!"

Eon paused as everyone in the crowd cheered. "I am so very proud of you all. You have helped me accomplish everything I had hoped to do one day. And now, I finally feel complete." A warm smile passed over his face. "As you all know, my being has been slowly fading from this plane of existence, it's been something I've been fighting for awhile now, and I think I am finally done."

A couple of gasps erupted from the crowd. Spyro didn't though, he knew his old master well enough to expect this. When he had gone in to give his report to Eon after their return, the spirit had taken him aside and all but said goodbye. Spyro had smiled and told him he would miss him. Eon returned the smile saying Spyro had made him proud. But, knowing what was coming still didn't keep a lump from forming in the back of his throat.

"I have done all I can do here and it is time for me to move on." Eon continued. "This does not mean that the Skylanders are done protecting the Skylands. No, you all have learned all that I could teach. You are ready to go on without me. And now I ask of you one thing; do not see this as a sadness. Throughout all that has happened to me, I do not see my life as a tragedy, but a joyous celebration of the good in the world and the perseverance to do what is right. And I would like it to end in that way.

"So let us celebrate tonight. Celebrate life and the good in the world. Celebrate this victory of the light. You all have earned it. You are all heroes."

And with that the cheering began.

Spyro and his team were met with many congratulations for having defeated Kaos. Other teams talked about their experiences bringing in other villains. The Trap Team was rather proud that they brought in all the doom raiders while members of the Swap Force joked about how much harder it was to bring in Mesmerelda.

Flynn hooked up his party lights and got the music going as he and Flameslinger set up a dance floor. Long into the night the Skylanders celebrated. Drinks were drunk, dances were danced, and stories were exchanged. Skylanders lined up to say their final goodbyes to Master Eon and to thank him for everything he had done.

Seeing all of those Skylanders gathered around Eon made Spyro grateful he had the chance to talk with him before. He felt like he had gotten closure. He knew what Eon had been going through trying to keep his spirit attached to this realm, it felt right for him to finally move on. And wanting to honor Eon's last wish, he celebrated.

Setting his empty glass down, Spyro emphatically shook his head. "Oh you gotta be kidding me!" He yelled over the music. "He's full of himself! He's more arrogant than me!"

"I highly doubt that." Stealth Elf replied.

"Oh come on! I bet he's not even blind! He just wears the blind fold to make the fact that he shoots arrows seem cool."

"Shooting arrows is cool." Cynder piped in.

"No it's not! Anyone could do it." Spyro slurred.

"Blindfolded?"
