Jet Vac stared into the traptanium cell in front of him. The metal desk and four chairs were still in there from the last time they had interrogated the King of Chaos. A brief bit of sadness washed over him as he stared at the chair Eruptor had last used not even a week ago.
There's no time for grief. He imagined a void, like he had done many times before, and fed all the sadness, grief, and joy into it. Soon, the only thing he had left was a smoldering anger — he had been unable to feed that completely into the void. But it would have to do.
Jet Vac entered the cell and walked over to the traptanium port. He activated it and waited as the King of Chaos's image slowly formed before him.
The wolfman appeared just as he had before; in a gold lined purple tunic with a dark pink cape over his shoulder. A golden crown rested lopsided on his head, pressing down his shaggy brown fur. A broad smile crossed his face as he bared his sharp teeth. "Hello, friend."
"We are not friends," Jet Vac said curtly, striding over to take a seat across from the wolfman.
"Ah, so this is business I presume." He said in mock disappointment.
Ignoring him, Jet Vac cut straight to the point. "You showed me visions the last time we were here. Visions that came true. I need you to show me more."
The wolf man's eyebrows rose and he leaned forward in his chair. His tongue darted across his lips as he slowly nodded in thought. He finally met Jet Vac's eyes and grinned. "What visions?"
Jet Vac had the urge to reach across and grab him by the throat but held himself back. "You know..." He growled through a gritted beak. "You know what I'm talking about."
The King of Chaos tilted his head to the side. "No, I don't think I do."
That was it. Jet Vac lunged across the table and grabbed him by the throat. He lifted him to his feet and threw him against the traptanium wall. "Don't play games with me, Wolfy!" Jet Vac growled.
The King of Chaos started laughing. "Oh, but I just love to play games, don't you?"
"This isn't a game!" Jet Vac roared. "What you did in Cascade Glade! What you did in Fizzland is not a game!"
At the mention of Fizzland, the laughing instantly halted. Jet Vac froze as genuine confusion crossed the King of Chaos's face before being covered by a serene mask of confidence. "What happened in Fizzland?" He demanded.
"You know damn well what happened in Fizzland!" Jet Vac slammed his fist against the traptanium next to the King of Chaos's head.
The wolfman was unphased by his outburst. Instead he studied Jet Vac's face for a moment before saying, "I'll answer your questions. Just tell me what happened in Fizzland first."
Jet Vac hesitated, his anger giving way to confusion. Why would the King of Chaos not know about his own bombs in Fizzland?
He lowered his hand from the wolfman's throat and took a step back. The King of Chaos cracked his neck before stepping around him and taking a seat. Jet Vac slowly followed suit.
"What happened?"
Jet Vac let the silence reign for a moment before answering. "Your explosives went off, decimating the entire island... As you intended, I'm sure."
The King shook his head. "That may have been the goal, but it wasn't supposed to happen yet." He answered back honestly. "So what happened in Fizzland?"
"We tracked a beast there. We attempted to capture him in traptanium, but he resisted and the traptanium exploded. Your explosives went off then and the island was turned to rubble."
