So this isn't an update, sorry about that. However I think I need to hold this book for a while and finish up on Capture. Then I'm taking a break.
Writing stories of the same genre is now getting extremely difficult. I have to find stories within my mind that are multidimensional and have a good plot. Lately, it's been hard to find a story that amounts to my first two works called 1943 and Red of Berlin. People are not responding much to my other two published stories and I've had to get rid of another as well.
I don't know if you all see things the way I see them, but it is what it is. I'm sorry to let you know this. I'll be finishing Capture since it's almost done, but I will be placing Halo on hold. I thought this was like 1943 and Red of Berlin put together, however it isn't getting the feedback I had wanted. So I'm going to take a break.
When Capture is done I won't be publishing anymore stories for a bit. I won't be gone completely but I need some time to think up a story that really impacts me and everyone else, much like 1943 and Red of Berlin. I'm sincerely hoping you can understand where I'm coming from.
If it so happens that I can't think up any new ideas, then I'll have to stop writing war books and move on to a different historical genre. Hopefully all of you can understand this. As a writer I felt I could think up anything, but now it's not so true. For me to write something passionately, I need to like the story. I'm not writing something I don't like. I apologize for this.
So, this'll be the last update you see for this story for a little. I may continue it later however I don't feel for it much. I just need to take a break. I hope you all understand. Happy reading.
- Elena.
