Secret Letter - Jaywon

Second round

Jay stayed in the kitchen for several minutes. He had to process what was going on.

So the members are waiting for me to confess? How on earth is this possible?
I've only talked about Jungwon to Heeseung, but I never told him I loved Won.
Did he guess it by watching us interact?
I don't think he would have tricked me, but it's hard to believe that the members would be okay about us dating.
I need to talk to Jungwon.

But not now Jay, don't be obvious.

He finally headed for the living room, still confused.
Jay opened the door and saw that the only available seat was between Jungwon and Heeseung. The latter looked at Jay and lifted his eyebrows, sending a clear, but sassy message.
Jay sighed and sat between them.

Jungwon turned his head and whispered in Jay's ear what he had missed during the first five minutes of the episode. Jay nodded, thankful.
He had to resist his urge to take Jungwon by the hand and bringing him to the bedroom to talk.
Jungwon noticed that something was off, but he knew he had to wait to ask. He nonetheless touched Jay's arm with his elbow, to let him know they would talk later.

Jay seemed to relax a little and even enjoyed the episode. He had planned on texting Jungwon afterwards. It wasn't the best method to talk, but after what Heeseung had said, Jay didn't want the members to see them alone.

After another two episodes, they decided to go to bed. Well, at least for some of them. They all knew Heeseung was going to play video games for a while.
Jungwon looked at Jay and followed him to the bedroom. They each went to their own bed and grabbed their phones.

Wonie✨ sent "What happened?"
Jayjay 🐈‍⬛ sent "I was in the kitchen and Heeseung asked how we were doing"
Jayjay 🐈‍⬛ sent "told him we talked during the break we were getting closer again, like we said in the plan"
Wonie✨ sent "cool, did he buy it?"
Jayjay 🐈‍⬛ sent "yeah, but then he asked me when I would confess my feelings to you"
Wonie ✨ sent "WHAT ? But how?"
Jayjay🐈‍⬛ sent "apparently all the members are waiting for it... and Hee added that they wouldn't mind if we did date"
Wonie✨ sent "okay, now I understand why you were upset"
Jayjay 🐈‍⬛ sent "what do you think about it?"
Wonie✨ sent "I don't know Jay.. I still think it's too risky. We can easily explain the videos with our friendship, but if we told the members, we wouldn't have any control over it anymore"
Jayjay 🐈‍⬛ sent "I knew you were going to say that"

Jungwon looked up and met Jay's gaze. For the first time they seemed not to agree on something.

Wonie ✨ sent "Did you really think about telling them?"
Jayjay🐈‍⬛ sent "Of course I'm considering it. It doesn't mean we will tell them, but it's one of the options"

Jungwon shook his head.
He couldn't.

Several months passed and the couple had found a little routine of privacy.
Every Tuesday, they had one hour alone at the dorm, and each Friday they had two hours for themselves as well. It wasn't much, but every minute they could enjoy as a couple was a gift.
They spent their time playing games, eating and dancing together. They had long talks about life and dreamed about their future together. However, Jungwon never wanted to talk about their current situation regarding the members.
Jay often tried to bring up the topic, but his boyfriend didn't want anyone to know.

It saddened Jay, but he understood and respected Jungwon's point of view. He was the leader after all. Jay knew how pressured he felt.

Sometimes, before sleeping, Jay liked to watch "Jaywon videos" on the internet. He didn't like seeing him being clingy, but loved the ones in which Jungwon was sweet to him. Every time he would fall asleep with a smile on his face.

Enhypen had grown so much since their debut. The had recorded two mini albums and were currently finishing preparing their first full length album. They worked so hard on it that their manager offered them a little trip before the release of the album.

"So we can choose where we want to go?" asked Sunghoon.
"Exactly" said the manager.

The members chatted about the destination for twenty minutes before deciding to go back to the pre-debut trip cabin. They were feeling nostalgic and it had been a year since they had been there.

"I love how symbolic this is!" said Sunoo, proud that it was his idea.
"Yes, it's going to be perfect to relax before the promotion of the album" added Jake.

Niki opened the entrance door, excited. The cabin hadn't changed a bit. The same kitchen, living room and bedrooms were waiting for them.

"This place is legendary" whispered Sunghoon.
The other nodded, overwhelmed by what this place represented for them.
"Can you believe that we came here to tighten the bonds in our group one year ago?" asked Heeseung.
"So much has happened since then. We grew a lot" added Jake.
"Especially Niki!" said Jay out loud. "You're taller than me now."
"That's right old man" teased Niki, smiling at Jay.

"Here they go again" said Sunoo, shaking his head at Jay attacking the youngest.
"In which rooms do you guys want to sleep?" asked Jungwon.
"Same as last time" said Heeseung, Sunoo, Jake and Sunghoon at the same time.
"Wow, you guys are really synchronized today" replied Jungwon, a bit surprised. "I'm okay with the ground floor bedroom though."

They spread in the house to unpack in their rooms.
"Wasn't it odd how they answered at the same time when I asked about the rooms?" asked Jungwon, entering the bedroom.
"I don't know Wonie" simply asked Jay. "I'm just grateful I don't have to trick the game to be alone with you."
He closed the door and saw how Jungwon was looking at him.
"How much time does one need to unpack?" asked Jungwon, smiling playfully at Jay.
"I'd say between ten and twenty minutes?" he answered.

Jungwon got closer to Jay.

"Well, I don't think we'll need so much time" he replied, rapidly unbuttoning Jay's shirt.
