GameToons Miscellaneous Stuff #2

Random HCs

Below, I'll introduce one random idea of mine for each character. A few might be weird or quirky, but just bear with me, here.

A couple of these were mentioned by me from the official Discord if you were interested.

Player

Deep down, absolutely adores Captain's songs. The reason why he killed Captain during his guitar solo was to prevent him bursting into song and embarass himself in front of the other crewmates.

Veteran

Despite being a food fanatic, he refuses to budge with ham. He's had terrible past experiences with people referring to him as a pig because of his eating habits, but he misinterpreted that as cannibalism.

Captain

The closest he has ever gotten to officially swearing is "snickerdoodles" or "fiddlesticks". He's a clean, pure, innocent bean who just wants the world to be a happier place.

TheGentleman

Whenever he's by himself at home, he attempts to stack as many tophats as possible on his head in the hopes of breaking the world record. Unfortunately, he can only ever manage 5 before they topple over and form a mess on the carpet.

Mr. Cheese

Binge watches Wallace & Gromit and has revisited A Grand Day Out 50 times now. He feels a special connection towards that specific film. The British dialect and characters reminds him of TG, Gromit reminds him of Toto and Cheddar and the moon literally being coated in cheese is just the icing on the cake.

Mr. Egg

Dreams of becoming a full time comedian as the crewmates find his puns amusing. However, the hole that shatters it from becoming true is being limited to egg related joke material. He's determined nonetheless and likes to look on the sunny side up of things.

Mother

Loves to display her caring and tender nature by giving the crewmates surprise hugs, which always scares the everliving bejeezus out of them. Regardless, they appreciate her gesture and it always manages to cheer them up.

Stoner

Has an enormous sweet tooth. His mouth drools at the sight of sweet foods such as chocolate and lollipops. Like Player, he tries to keep it a secret and hide it from the group. He's actually pretty generous in sharing the teeth rotting food that he offers the candy to them, but to his confusion, they always deny it.

B-Day

Can hold his breath for an incredibly long period of time. It's the reason why his voice is constantly high pitched whenever he meets up with the core crew from sucking up the helium from his navy balloon. Obviously, he doesn't inhale it.

Rose

Is alarmingly allergic to roses, believe it or not. The cosmetic item she wears is purely fake, but she wears it because she finds it to be the most beautiful out of every flower. This is why she tends to a garden filled with an assortment of various plants, excluding roses.

Engineer

Whenever he becomes nervous or his blood begins to boil, he starts reciting each individual digit of pi, in an effort to calm himself down.

Gnome

Consistently misjudges distances, measurements, heights, etc. Whether it be buying the wrong shoe size, setting the temperature extremely high and burning the cooked food, or even cutting too thick of a slice of bread. It's a miracle how she managed to pass her driving exam, without crashing into the cars directly in front of her.

Dum

Whenever her ketchup coloured brother is in a depressed mood, she superglues a couple of googly eyes over her post-it note and proceeds to do a goofy dance in front of him, which earns a giggle out of him. It doesn't really help her vision-wise, and she often bumps into furniture during her dance, which puts Player in a fit of laughter.

Angel

Whenever she sneezes, she emits an incredibly high pitched squeak, to which the other crewmates find her cute and adorable in response.

Bro

Deep inside his heart, lies a pure momma's boy softie. He always appreciates the heartwarming and caring gestures delivered from his dear mother and he always feels protected and right at home. Mother is no exception to this either. She'll always find a way to bring out the innocent side of Bro, to which he desperately tries to conceal from the others. The reason he acts like such a bully is because he's rather insecure and believes that everyone'll poke fun and ruin his reputation.

Sheriff

An extremely accurate predictor. Whenever he checks the odds for the Grand National (British equivalent of horse racing), he always decides on the eventual top winners and earns a lot of moolah from the races. The weather is no big deal, either. Even when the forecast mentions it will be partly cloudy in his area, he can safely deny it because he knows it will be a real scorcher. Lo and behold, everyone's relaxing on the beach.

Ninja

A tad bit of a cliché, but is actually a superhero in disguise. All of the stealth training, swift movements and accurate swipes with the katana against moving targets and his impressive parkour have really paid off in apprehending criminals and bringing them to justice. He wears an ebony coloured hoodie during his work, and goes by the name "Fukitsu".

PoopyFarts

Generally one of the better smelling crewmates, despite his speech patterns and misleading name. He always goes above and beyond on ensuring his scent is appealing, using Lynx as a body spray or pomegranate scented Radox in the shower. He sympathises with the crewmates about not always having a fresh scent, so that's why he speaks in gusts of wind in order to not feel as bad.

Happy

No matter the event or circumstances, he always finds the need to bake a cake for everyone in the lobby. Angel escaped from the Cheater's Lobby? Lemon cake on the way! Digested too many hamburgers from a hunger craze? Have a healthy carrot cake from yours truly! Someone's birthday? Nah, let's not bother-SIKE! Have double the cake! He notes that it's a good willed gesture of kindness, even if the crewmates find it unnecessary. He just wants everyone to be happier; to live up to his name.

Wizard

Suffers left and right from aching pains inside his body. The ailments don't pile on together, but when he recovers from one chronic back pain, a chest infection'll rear its ugly head. He's currently working on an effective potion or spell using his magic to help cure his pain, but his attempts have proven to be futile.
