GameToons Miscellaneous Stuff #2

I'm sorry...

Hey guys, just wanted to inform you of some genuine disheartening news.

I will not be continuing writing on The Retro Years and uploading the next chapters.

I know this may come as a surprise to you, since I hyped this up for the past couple weeks, but I'm discontinuing it.

There are a few reasons for this.

Firstly, it's because I'm currently working full-time now from 9am 'til 3pm. I seriously don't have as much free time as I used to before and I'm generally left tired afterwards.

Lastly, motivation and creativity is a massive issue for me. I constantly have to rely on synonyms on the internet for the descriptions of certain words just to avoid repeating myself a paragraph or two later, which is painful, to say the least.

I'm not a writer first and foremost, and I'll make that explicitly clear now. I'm a gamer and I'd rather put my time in something worth enjoying, rather than procrastinate and mope about writing the next part.

Don't worry, though. I'm not leaving the community yet. I'll still make the occasional meme, here and there in this book, but that's probably the most you'll get out of me now.

I don't expect you to forgive me for tugging your heartstrings and playing you like a fiddle unintentionally. I feel like GameToons and the irl series for pulling a stunt like that and I'm terribly sorry.

I wanted to post this chapter earlier rather than later, so I don't leave you hanging (bad joke, sry) later down the road if you're wondering why the bloody hell the new book's not been updated.

I'm not deleting it and I'm not expecting anyone to continue it either, but it's there if you wanna consider it. I still have the script prepared and everything.

Lastly, you can ask me about the plot or anything regarding the book here. I'm not gonna leave out crucial pieces of info if any of you were interested.

I'm sorry for disappointing you lovely peeps...
