Chapter 18

LILLYS POV 

I sat in the car with Crawfords mom. She Just tapped her thumbs on the steering wheel. After a while she put on the radio it was very low though. I just sat there and looked out the window 

"Sooooooo, what are we doing today?" i asked

"we are going to go have a day that you would have with your mother." she looked over at me and smiled. 

"Ahhhhhh i dont really know what that means." i told her

"we will go get our nails done, eat, shopping and if you want we can get your hair cut or done." 

"Ahhhh you really dont have to, like thats a lot just for me and youre already paying for the hospital i dont need this." I told her feeling guilty

"Listen here missy. I know youve never done this and thats why i want to do it. Youll be an adult in a year or so and i want to give you what you should have. I watch after you so shush and let me do this." she said in a playful voice "oh and kristen and karisma will be joining us for lunch and everything after." 

"Urgggg fine. But no more spoiling me after this." i demanded

"Not making any promises." she giggled as we pulled into the nail place parking lot. 

I laughed and got  out of the car. She told them what she wanted, and i got gel nails or something, white. We just sat there talking and then came the awkward conversation.

"Soooooo, you and crawford?" she asked smiling. "i know your almost seventeen, and i know youll being doing that, even with my baby boy." she looked away and back at me. " just please be safe? no grandchildren for a while." 

"I can promise you we are and nope no babies." im suprised at how mature i said that. 

"good now where do you want to eat?" she asked as the ladys finished our nails.

We didnt know where we wanted to eat so we let the girls choose. They chose this little cafe deli thing it was pretty cute. We sat at an outside table and everyone else ordered sandwhiches and i ordered, a rasberry lemonade and a salad.

after we were done eating and chatting we decided to go shopping. It was an outdoor mall and was pretty big. Me and his sisters went into Pac Sun, while his mom, went somewhere older people shop. 

I was given like five hundred dollars and was like trying to save some of it. I got two pairs of pants, dark and lights, super skinny. A black and white paisly crop top, a red halter top, and a black and white stripped crop top. Then we went to forever 21. I got a couple skirts, black and white. Some more more crop tops just different colors. 

Me and his sisters were walking around when I heard a firmilular voice. Nuh uh. I turn around and rachel stood there talking to one of her minions. She looked at me and i told the girls i had to go to the bathroom. I was gonna be sick. She made me feel sick. I ran and ran ti i found the bathroom. I locked myself in a stall and threw up my lunch. Then the door opened. Shoes treaded till they stopped in front of the stall. I was in the handicapped stall so i sat in the corner until the person started knocking. Now pounding. 

"Lilly open the door now." Crawfords moms voice echoed in the bathroom. 

i got up and open the door and took her in a hug. I hated rachel. I feared her. I needed to get as far away from her as i could. HIs mom hugged me back and told me to get cleaned up and we could go. She just needed to stop in one store. So i grabbed my bags and rinsed my mouth out. I followed closley to the to the store. They all went in different directions and i stayed near the clearence. 

i accidentally knocked over a shirt so i bent down and picked it up and when i came back up and turned around rachel was there. I gasp and tried to act tough but i guess it wasnt working. She smiled. A sinester smile. I tried to push past her but she pushed me back.
