The story is set in the 18th century in a small town(fictional). Due to this, homosexuality appears to be a crime in the settings, but believe me - I stand against that ideology of people.
Love doesn't choose and you don't choose whom you fall in love with. It's completely fine to love somebody of the same sex.
There may be some smut in this(not very descriptive), so if your not comfortable, Imma suggest you to skip.
There will be a LOT of Greek, Roman and Biblical references. I will be explaining the meanings of the references at the end of each chapter in a References Column. So, watch out for that.
Also, if I randomly start fangirling, just know that it's normal.
This book will also contain some graphic descriptions of violence, and homophobia will exist, quite a lot.
