Today was a quiet day, thankfully. The stress of all the meetings and conferences was causing you to gain rather bitter headaches and now with the peacefulness of that finally being over, you felt like a wave of harmony had flown over you.

Well, that was until you remembered you were to lead an army into almost certain death in just a few days time. You had tried to reassure yourself and say that it probably wasn't certain death and you would, no doubt, win the war yet some of the statistics proved you wrong. However, others proved you right. You had very conflicting views about it but you had to force yourself to look stern and sure when out and about as to not worry the civilians.

And that's what you did. You roamed the fortress with a calm, neutral face with your hands entwined at the waist. You may be an army general but you were still a royal: you had to show some sort of elegance.

The majority of the morning you decided to spend in your room, working on some paperwork that you were very behind on. Some of the paperwork was absolutely ridiculous but it had to get done, nonetheless. By the end of it, you had a stack of papers on your right with your handwriting scribbled upon it as the pile on the left shrunk and shrunk until, finally, it was done. And with a sigh of relief, you placed the pen in its inkpot and relaxed into the chair, slumping down it.

Your wrist ached and that headache you had finally gotten rid of seemed to of been replaced by a slightly weaker one. No doubt from the amount of work you just had to do. You decided that the best way to get rid of your headache was to head over to your bridge and take in the ashy air and hope that it relaxes you.

With a groan, you stood up from your seat and grabbed your scabbard from its place on your wall and clipped it to your belt. Today you wore simple black trousers, brown boots and a white shirt that you threw a dark brown trench coat over.

As you walked through the hallways, the sound of your boots clicking against the tiles echoed, alerting the servants of your presence. You had managed to walk across the fortress with no problems or unnecessary interactions, to your surprise, and all you had left was to walk through the guest rooms corridors and then the upper-class corridor which contained an array of drawing rooms and private libraries and such for the nobles and the rich to get away if they so pleased. Simple.

With a stern face, you began to march through the corridor, the journey locked in your mind. It felt like it had been year's since you visited the bridge.  The last time you were there, you had just found out about the war. Now you were to leave for the war in two days.

A sarcastic smirk grew on your face as you acknowledged that a month ago you were basically be living on that bridge. Visiting it for hours a day after your responsibilities and not going to bed until late into the night. Part of you missed how simple life was a month ago. No wars. No meetings. Your only responsibility being the training of new soldiers and keeping the fortress in order. Now, you had almost every duty to take care of.

You had to plan a war, plan a ball, lead a war, win a war, take care of the fortress, take care of the soldiers, and, most importantly, keep your community safe. It was all so overwhelming but you couldn't show your feelings. It would only terrify the servants. And servants word spreads fast. It would only be a few hours before all the surrounding villages knew of the former princesses and current general's concern. Hysteria would be everywhere. And you could not deal with that right now. Especially when you had already shown vulnerability to Aegeus and Technoblade.

You took a deep breath to keep your emotions at bay as you turned a corner. However, as you turned the corner, you almost crashed right into someone had it not been for your immediate reflex, allowing you to step to the side before the two of you almost crashed into each other. The other person seemed to have a similar idea as they stepped to the side too, however, they weren't as lucky as they tumbled right into the wall. This, unfortunately, caused them to lose their balance and sink to the floor.

Without even looking at who it was you crouched down to the person and asked "oh dear lord, are you ok?". Only after asking did you realise it was, in fact, Technoblade who now sat slumped against the patterned wall. Fear rushed through you as you realised what had just happened. You had just made King Technoblade, the Blood God, the Pigman who shows no mercy to his enemies, fall to the ground.

Though, all your fear washed away as Technoblade let out a chuckle, closing his eyes and looking up at the ceiling. "well that was unlucky" he said through his chuckles, causing you to snicker.

"Jeezes Christ, I thought I hurt some poor servant or something. I genuinely panicked, dear god" you sighed as your knees gave out, causing you to fall onto your butt.

"I thought I was about to hurt some poor servant by walking into them. Do you have any idea how big I am? If I fell on someone, they'd be crushed in an instant" Techno laughed, looking down at you.

"Eh, I'm strong. I could take you" you joked with a smirk on your face, resting your hand on your knee that was now propped up.

"I doubt it"

"What, you want to test it out?" You asked. You needed practice anyway. The majority of the people you fought with went easy on you since they didn't want to disrespect you but you knew Techno wouldn't mind putting all his effort into a fight with you. Plus, it'll give him a good idea of his allies strengths and weaknesses.

"Do you really want to do this?" Technoblade answered, slightly worried at the idea of the two of you fighting against each other.

"Yeah, come on. Most people I train with kind of suck. I could use some practice with someone who actually knows how to use a sword" you chuckled.

"Yeah, alright. I'm in. Now?"

"Now" you responded, a smirk growing your face.
