It was a beautiful day, suryadev's radiant rays reached every corner in sight. Gangaputra walked towards the shore, deep in thought, sighing every few minutes. After Pandu left, his doubts about the welfare of the Kingdom has increased. Dhritrashtra, even though he was just like his son, sometimes gets blinded by jealousy.
Bhishm's pov
At first, I was at peace knowing Pandu had taken the reigns but now that Pandu was in exile, my worries returned. The next in line to be king should be Yudhishthir, even though I want to find out more about the kids I can't meet them. I am afraid that Dhritshashtra might object, with Gandhar Raj Shakuni's instigation, he might want Duryodhan to compete for the throne. If it weren't for Shakuni I would have personally helped Duryodhan understand. No matter how much I try to educate that child, Duryodhan refuses to be a humble royal, he prefers to be a snobbish prince who can get whatever he wants. I have always worked towards the welfare of Hastinapur but this time, I don't know what to do or whom should I turn to for help. I was about to call upon Mata Ganga, knowing that she would lead me correctly, when suddenly a young girl came running towards the water.
I heard her call out to her pitashree and before I could even react, the young girl jumped into the waters making a big splash. Panicked, I ran in her direction, thinking she must be drowning when I heard a giggle.
I saw Matashree Ganga holding the same girl, smiling down at her, as she looked around curiously. I walked towards them and heard Matashree say,"Putri, your pitashree isn't here, and please do not jump in the waters like this."
