Jazmine's POV

I don't know if it is because I'm a ghost, the fact that James and Elizabeth aren't even married anymore, the screaming, or the moaning, but I couldn't sleep, everything just felt off putting. Just knowing that James and Elizabeth had separated was also super crazy. I found out that James is basically single while Elizabeth has a boyfriend? His name is Donovan and he's Iris' son. And still after all this time, James remains obsessed with Elizabeth. Now on top of thinking about James and Elizabeth, it seemed as if every time I tried to close my eyes someone would moan loudly or they'd scream.

This hotel was evil now, James had started the murdering. But now every ghost here was just inspired to do so. Its like they were all amused and addicted to killing. I just hoped for the best, hoping that tonight I could close my eyes.

"You look awfully tired." Hazel commented as a steamed bloody linens from a bed. "I am. Too many screams and moans interrupted my sleep." I admitted. "You'll get used to it." She said. "I thought we only worked for James. Do we clean for every ghost who murders someone?" I said, cringing at the smell. "The ghost aren't going to clean them themselves." The older woman shrugged. "This is exhausting. The steam is making me hot." I complained. Which was usually something I'd never do because I didn't want James thinking I don't like working for him. But it was just the fact that now, I'd have multiple linens to clean, poor Hazel had been doing this all on her own for years and here I am complaining and this is my second linen I had to clean.

"You're doing a great job." Hazel smiled at me. I sighed. "You've already done four. I've done two." I laughed softly. "You're making progress." She said and I smiled. "That's a positive way to put it." I said. One of the foreign blonde girls stopped abruptly holding an ice bucket, she had a look of worry on her face as she looked down the hall. Hazel and I just looked at her. She walked back as if it was nothing.

I looked over to Hazel, she went back to steaming the linen. I sighed as I continued doing the same. Steaming the linens were a lot harder than I remembered. It felt like it took forever to get the blood out of them.

As I almost finished my second sheet, I jumped at the sound of screaming. I still wasn't used to the random screams. They always scared me since they were basically like a jump scare.

Soon the two blonde girls were practically running down the hall with their things.

Narrator's POV

Jazmine watched as the girls entered the elevator, tears streaming down their face. "What do you think happened?" Jazmine turned back to Hazel. "Don't bother, get back to cleaning the linens. We have two more each." Hazel said. Jazmines eyes lingered on Hazel before going back to steaming.

After a couple minutes of silence Jazmine couldn't help but speak up again. "They're going to die, aren't they?" She asked. "I don't know, Jazmine." Hazel said. The younger woman just continued doing her job.

"Hey, Liz. I need a water." Jazmine sighed as she sat down. She had gotten to know Liz and Iris and she knew that she'd be with Liz and Iris for most of her time when she wasn't cleaning or cooking. "Here, I got something better." Liz said, Jazmine furrowed her eyebrows. "It isn't alcohol, is it?" She asked. Liz smiled as she shook her head. "No." She replied as she placed the cup in front of Jazmine.

Jazmine noticed that it was clear, but was fizzing with bubble. "Is it champagne?" Jazmine raised her eyebrow. "You said no alcohol. It's not champagne. Try it" Liz said. Jazmine smiled as she took a sip, her eyes squinting, nose scrunching at the carbonation. Soon a sweetness took over making Jazmine's eyes widened. She took another sip, now preparing for that fizzy feeling, this time it was more tolerable now that she was expecting it.

"Wow, what is this?" She asked, Liz laughed lightly before answering. "Sprite." She stated. "Well this sprite is certainly my new favorite drink. I love this." Jazmine took another sip, it just got better. "If I could marry this drink I would." Jazmine joked. Liz laughed. "It's about time you try another soda's." Liz said. "There's more flavor's?" Jazmine asked. "A lot of flavors." Liz said. Jazmine face brighten. "I'll try them all night. Let's start." Jazmine said.

"Right after Liz takes the gentleman to room sixty-four." Iris spoke up, the two of them looked up to see a man with a serious look on his face. He was wearing a suit. "But room sixty-four is-" Iris cut Jazmine off. "It's fine." Iris smiled at the man then Jazmine. Liz looked at Jazmine, nodding, indicating that she'll be back. Jazmine just nodded and watch as Liz walked off with the man.

"You guys are all in this murdering thing, I will not be apart of it." Jazmine stated confidently. "Well you don't have to, dear. You can just clean it up." James appeared, she instantly lost confidence. "I'm more than just a maid, Mr. March." Jazmine said softly. "Is that so?" His jaw clenched. "Of course, beside being your maid, I'm human, I may be a ghost but I still have feelings and I can still be exhausted." Jazmine said, she didn't care about making him upset. "But yet you're still here, still in that outfit. You were meant to be a maid." James snapped. Jazmine could feel her heartbreak.

She had found out what he really thought of her. He would always see her as a maid. Nothing more, nothing less.

"I'm glad to know that's how you see me." Jazmine stopped her tears from falling. Before either one of them could speak Liz hand came back. "The usual, Mr. March?" The woman asked, James gave her a simple nod. After Liz gave James his drink, she pours three different cups of soda's and placed them in front of Jazmine.

"Taste away." She smiled. Jazmine grabbed the first soda. James took small sips of his drink as he watched what the two women did. Liz would pour a little in each cup and have Jazmine taste test the different flavors.

"Sprite has to be my absolute favorite." Jazmine said as she took her last sip of soda, placing her hand over her stomach. "That was a lot." Jazmine smiled to Liz. "There's more flavors. But we don't have them all." Liz said. "Maybe one day you can get me some. I'll give you the money." Jazmine smiled while placing money onto the counter and standing up.

"Now, I'm off to steam blood from the linens. I as should." She said while looking at James, walking away.
