Jazmine and Alex had hit it off.

Liz stood at the bartender almost all night refilling drinks.

Jazmine wasn't tired of chugging a sprite, and Alex wasn't tired of looking at her reactions to the small comments he made.

Liz was only there to make sure that her friend has a great time, and a great distraction. Jazmine didn't have to know that Liz was only doing it for her, but Liz did want her to know that she cared about her.

It was only so little time when seeing Jazmine happy. But Liz wanted to change that, and if that meant that Jazmine had to keep her mind off of James, then so be it.

Days went past and Alex would stop by every now and then. Every time he visited, it wasn't even for a drink. It was just to chat with Jazmine in the lobby.

"You think your lover boy is coming back today?" Iris asked, making Liz chuckle under her breath. "Lover boy?" Jazmines eyebrows furrowed. "Yeah. I see you two flirting all the time." She said and Liz nodded. "We do not." Jazmine shook her head. "Keep telling yourself that. Your love makes me sick." Sally appeared next to Jazmine. "Love? No that's too soon. I don't love Alex." Jazmine started to slightly panic, it wasn't visible, but she was afraid. She didn't want to fall in love with someone else. She wanted to make sure that she had officially moved on from James.

But she clearly hadn't.

"Yeah, I think it too soon." Liz finally spoke up. "I need to go talk to someone really quick." Jazmine cleared her throat as she stood up.

Recently she had been appearing wherever she wanted to go, but this time she walked over to the elevator and pressed the button.

They all found it weird, watching as she walked in and it closed a couple of seconds after.

"You freaked her out." Liz said to Sally and Iris. "Then maybe it's true. Maybe she doesn't love Alex." Sally spoke with hope. "Love? It's been two weeks, if anything that poor girl is getting used to even talking to a man who isn't her boss." Liz said. "She's never experienced love yet." Liz stated. "I don't know if I should feel sad, bad, or jealous." Iris said. "I feel all three. I hope her first love doesn't treat her like shit." Sally spoke.

On the other hand, Jasmine was frantically rushing down the hall, define her mother figure. Of course she remembered the schedule, so she knew that by now, Hazel would be on the third floor cleaning up the rooms in the back.

"Hazel." She called, rushing after the lady who was walking further down the hall. "Jazmine, sweetie. It's nice to see you." That pained the younger woman to here, Hazel was now overworked to the point where she barely had time to see her.

"It's nice to see you too! I wanted to ask you something—or more like get your advice." She said and Hazel smiled softly at the girl, letting her know that it was okay to continue. "Okay..so. There's this guy named Alex. He's pretty sweet..but Sally is suggesting—well, saying that I love him." She started and Hazels eyes widened slightly. "Well do you?" Hazel asked. "I don't. But I think he's super sweet and nice to talk to." She spoke truthfully.

As James was turning the corner to walk down the corridor, he stopped, seeing the familiar woman.

"How long have you known him for?" Hazel continued to asked, James grew interested on who they could possibly be talking about. "For about two weeks—almost three." She said and Hazel smiled. "He hasn't wondered why you're always in this building, now has he?" The older woman asked and Jazmine shook her head, laughing at the lie Liz had told him. "No—uhh, Liz told him that I have this deadly allergy to pollen outside of the hotel so I can't leave. He believes it..I guess. So he just stops by whenever. Sally says it's romantic." Jazmine smiled to herself.

"Whatever you feel, don't be afraid to tell him." Hazel said, James furrowed his eyebrows. "I won't tell him anything of there's nothing to tell him." Jazmine whispered to Hazel.

"I promise there's nothing."

Because I still love James.

If felt like a curse the second she said his name.

"I just love his company. He's a good listener and a sweet guy." Finished. Those were true statements, but it wasn't the real reason.

James had enough of eavesdropping, so he left and reminded himself to talk to Hazel later. He had new plans to make.
