James wasn't the type of man to have feelings for every beautiful woman he laid his eyes on. He had it bad for one woman, and that was Elizabeth, it had always been Elizabeth ever since they got married. Even though she had been in multiple relationships over the years James didn't care, he still felt the way he felt since they got married.

Then Jazmine came, he felt as if everything was back to normal—except he wasn't married of course, but he had two maid instead of one, like the old times. But not only that, he had felt that something wasn't the same. He had actually missed her, seeing Jazmine's face made that empty feeling go away. He didn't know what that was about, but he just felt somewhat connected to her. Along with the way he had made sure no one took her room, he kept it nice and clean, waiting for her. He was getting skeptical of himself, James didn't like that he was doing things for someone other than himself and Elizabeth. It was nice in a way though, he was happy to be doing something different every once in a while.

The others around the hotel were skeptical to who this Jazmine woman was. They had heard James mentioned her name so many times when it came to giving guests her room. At one point he just took the room key and tossed it away and everyone thought he was crazy for wasting a room. No one named Jazmine made any sign. They thought that James was going crazy and thinking of someone from a dream or his imagination, they even thought that it could have been someone he killed haunting him. But soon they finally met Jazmine, sweet, beautiful, clueless about this years time and electronics. They could see why James was so hooked on the thought of the girl. They were shocked to see James treat her like shit, after all those years of mentioning her, she finally appears and he treats her as if she was nothing.

As if she was nothing but his maid.

Liz stood at the bar making James' usual. James sat their waiting, watching as others walked around his hotel. Liz's eyes widened as Iris walked out of the elevator. "Iris, did Jazmine tell you what happened?" She asked the woman. "Jazmine barely talks to me." Iris briefly answered. "Donavan choked her, and slammed her against the wall. She downed a whole cup of the strongest alcohol." Liz laughed. Iris squinted her eyes. "I thought you said she hated alcohol?" Iris whispered, it was too late for whispering since James had heard it all. "That's what I thought. She said she did it for the pain. I told her to take pills but she said what's the worst that could happen. Three minutes later she was wasted." Liz laughed to herself.

Iris couldn't help but scold herself, she felt like she didn't teach her son enough. Was he that dumb to put his hands on a woman?

"I have to go check on her," Liz said. "Mr. March." Liz said as she placed the drink in front of the man who seemed upset. Liz knew she hit a spot somewhere once she started talking about Jazmine, and it was all apart of her plan. She smiled as she walked from behind the bar. "Iris. You know what to do." Liz called, the woman had trusted Iris to take over at the bar whenever she needed a break.

Liz made her way up the elevator to the first floor, going to room twenty. Knocking on the door she got no answer. "Jazmine. If you're in there I'm coming in!" Liz called as she entered, bad sign the the door was unlocked. "Jazmine, I hope you know you left the door unlocked." The bald woman said as she looked around the room, Jazmine wasn't in her bed.

Liz could see the bathroom light on, through the slightly closed door. "Jazmine?" Liz called out. "Liz?" She was relieved to hear Jazmine's voice. Liz opened the door to see the woman hunched over the toilet. "Whenever I ask for a drink...never ever give me one." Jazmine groaned. "I'm throwing up nothing at the point, stomach acid maybe? I can taste it. I thought ghost didn't have hangovers?" Jazmine held her stomach. "It's the afterlife, normal life reactions wouldn't change." Liz smiled down at the upset woman. "Can I have something to help?" Jazmine groaned. "You want more alcohol?" Liz joked. "Ha. Ha. Can I get a pill? Like an Advil..for my neck?" Jazmine questioned. "Sure. Why don't you come down, I'm sure Mr. March would want to see you." Liz smirked, Jazmine's eyes widened.

"What! Why?" She asked. "Well, I may have told Iris about her son, while Mr. March eavesdropped. Or maybe I just said it loud enough for him to hear." Liz shrugged mindlessly. "You did that on purpose? Why would you do that? I-I could get fired for drinking in the job!" Jazmine panicked. "Jazmine, you'll be free from a job, you hate you job. Besides it was to only test to see if Mr. March had feelings for you. It seems like he does. He's very bad at trying to control his anger." Liz smiled as she helped Jazmine up.

Liz was right, it was basically a win win. Either way, if she would get fired she'd get to roam around the hotel, living limited but freely. If she keeps her job, she just works knowing that James Patrick March has some type of feelings towards her.

"So, are you coming downstairs or do I have to be your maid and bring you water, Advil, and an ice pack?" Liz questioned. "James is downstairs?" She asked. Liz shrugged. "He does finish he drinks quite fast." The woman noted, Jazmine nodded. "I'll go. Only because I don't want you to bring me things when your job is downstairs and you're already up here." She said Liz nodded as she helped the girl out of her room.

Going downstairs Jazmine's skin ran cold seeing James sitting at the bar. "I thought you said he finished her drinks fast!" She whispered yelled to Liz. "I guess not today." Liz walked past the girl, going behind the bar. Jazmine awkwardly walked over to the bar, sitting three seats away from
James. Feeling his eyes on her, she sat looking forward at Liz.

Iris walked over to Jazmine, placing her hand on top of Jazmine's. "I'm sorry about Donavan. He's been out of place." She said, Jazmine nodded. "To be fair I kind of started it. I talked about Elizabeth with the new model guy." She said. Iris shrugged. "It's the truth. He should be able to handle it, he shouldn't have hurt you. Look at your neck." Iris said. Liz gave the girl a cup of water, and a bag of ice. Jazmine smiled gratefully.

James stood up, thank Liz as he headed towards Jazmine. "Meet me in my room when you're done." He whispered. She nodded softly, Liz raised her eyebrow. "He's either going to fire me, ask me what happened, or yell at me." Jazmine groaned while squeezing the bridge of her nose. "For what? Getting hurt? I don't think he would, he's protective over you, he might try killing Donavan." Liz said, Iris even nodded, knowing the truth.
