TWO MONTHS LATER:

"Hellooo, welcome! Thank you all for coming." Liz spoke after she tapped on the glass. "Excuse me," A lady in yellow, known as Marcy raised her finger. "My understanding is that you two are in charge now? And I'd like to speak to you about changing my room." She spoke to Liz and Iris.

"Sweetheart, you're a ghost. You can choose whatever room you'd like." Liz stated obviously. "Well, yes, but the problem is, after I pick a room and then settle in with my erotica novels, I never know if a guest is going to check in and disturb me. I know this is Los Angeles, but I'm an old-fashioned girl and I like my privacy." She spoke.

Jazmine shuffled of her feet into a chair far from the group.

"I dig it when the guests come in. It's like a free dirty movie. I'm into that amateur stuff." He said and the blonde girls giggled in unison. Jazmine rolled her eyes as she rested her hand on the table and tapped her nails along the table. "Are you three like a thing now?" Sally asked them. "Ya. We tried dating the lumberjack, but he's a gay." Vendela answered. The lumberjack quickly flipped the girls off.

"Okay, everyone, please, listen. This is important, and it affects every single one of you." Iris spoke. "We would like you to stop killing the guests." They reacted immediately as if it was a joke. "It's not all of you, but we are trying to build something special here. A real...destination." Liz spoke honestly. "Look, they're gonna get two football teams down in Carson. That's twenty minutes down the 110. This place could be filled. But if it gets out that people are checking in and disappearing, then obviously, that's bad for business." Iris said as Liz nodded her head; agreeing with her co-worker.

"Screw you, Iris. You're the biggest killer in this room, you bloodsucker" Will spoke making Iris sigh as she took a seat. "Maybe in the past. But every drop of blood I drink now is donated. Any murders that go on in this hotel are done by your kind." She said.

"Excuse me, but...what do you mean by "our kind"?" Agnetha asked. "Can we all just call a spade a spade and say you're talking about Will and I? I mean, Woo is too busy munching on Swedish fish to bother anyone and Marcy molests herself or complains all day. The lumberjack just mopes. Jazmine is as good as can be and will never hurt a soul. And that hipster couple just trips around moaning about the kale. Will and I are the only ones who still get off on a little bit of true mischief." Sally spoke.

Jazmine loosened her posture up as she furrowed her eyebrows.

"And we're not stopping. Ending some jerk-off who wastes the air that he breathes? That is the real high. I'm dead, but I've never felt more alive." Will said making Sally smile. "Ha." She said.

The slow clapping gained everyone's attention as they turned to look at who it was.

It was James, Jazmine had been avoiding him for the past two months, which was easy since he seemed to never want to talk to her anymore. Yet she still couldn't find peace in that.

"Beautifully said. And I couldn't agree more." He spoke to the two. Jazmine knew he wouldn't want to stop killing. He wasn't a good person and she was trying to tell herself that. She told herself that everyday as if they were affirmations.

"But I must come down on the side of Cleopatra and her friend on this issue." This quickly gained Jazmine's attention. "Oh, come on! You telling people to stop killing is like Colonel Sanders telling us to stop eating chicken." Sally said.

"I'm not familiar with your military friend and his fondness for poultry, but my killing days are over. I thought the Ten Commandments killings were the beginning of my work, but it turns out that they are the epilogue. The torch has been passed, and I feel complete." Jazmine sighed as she got up and left the room.

The group went silent, watching as she did so, Liz cleared her throat, gaining their attention once again and James continued talking.

Now Jazmine was beyond pissed.

How come he's just done with killing now?

She had been angry about trying to make herself forget about him, she had been trying to remind herself of how bad of a person he was, how much he had made her ruin herself, how he had ruined her life.

The woman stormed into her room and face planted into her pillow.

She didn't know how to feel, she didnt feel good about herself. She laid there for ten minutes before turning over to took at the ceiling and sighed deeply.

"Fuck!" She exclaimed, making her throat immediately grow hoarse.

The knock on her door made her stomach flip, not a good way, more out of embarrassment. She rushed over to her door and opened it. "That's new." Liz spoke as she walked into the room. "Yeah, well I'm feeling really shitty right now so it checks out." Jazmine closed the door behind them and crossed her arms as she walked over to her bed plopped down on it.

"Seeing as you're more explicit with your words more than usual...is it James related?" Liz asked. "How was your meeting? Are the others still going to kill our guests?" Jazmine changed the conversation. "So it is James related." The woman concluded. "Liz. Please." Jazmine pleaded. "Yes. Everyone agreed to not kill anymore. Well, Sally caused a scene but Iris is going to fix it. We're actually going to put everyone at peace. Find ways to keep them at bay." Liz explained. Jazmine nodded as she stared ahead at the floor. "That's good." Jazmine hummed.

Liz noticed how the younger woman's expression hadn't matched her words. She couldn't leave her hanging with the thought of whatever was haunting her.

"Just tell me, Jazmine. What is it that I can do to make you happy? It pains me to see you this way." Jazmine's head snapped over to Liz, her gaze softening.

"I don't know where I stand anymore, I don't know what to do. I want to crossover—but then again I don't because I'll miss you, and I want to see the hotel in good shape. I want to see the guests enjoy it, I want to see this building flourish but the second I'm reminded of how dark and pathetic my life has been..all I want is peace, Liz." Jazmine sighed deeply. She felt a heavy weigh on her shoulders, her head began to pound like a heart beat.

"W-what's happenings?" Jazmine stood up and placed her hand over her chest. "What do you mean?" Liz asked. "I can't—my head feels like it's about to pop." Jazmine fell to her knees with her hands holding the temple of her head. "Jazmine!" Liz fell to her knees beside the woman and held her as she began to scream.

The pressure had been getting worse by the second.

Her scream had been high pitched and powerful making the room lights flicker.

It was like a wave flashed over the entire hotel. The building shook subtly as the lights flickered and her scream echoed throughout the place.

Liz placed her hands over her ears as she closed her eyes.
