There was once a time of war, when the great Leanos ruled the country of Falor. Falor was where the greatest warrior Kieler came from. Kieler led the army that destroyed the rival territory that was then called Gandor. In contrast to Falor, the most wicked and the worst lord came from Gandor, who was fearfully called Caoalais. When Kieler destroyed Gandor, everything was destroyed, except for a mysterious jewel. Even though Kieler was the greatest warrior, he was quite selfish and wore this jewel everywhere he went, he wore it so much that it finally made him insane, ultimately leading to his death. After his death, the jewel was buried somewhere that only the eldest wizards knew the whereabouts of. When the eldest wizards died, the legend of the jewel was forgotten. However, no one knew that Caoalais's soul was contained in the jewel, and over time it rose from the jewel looking for a new host.
