One of Akoen's friends, Lokiel, was very much like Akoen as they both had the similar urge to become great warriors. They both were also very good with weapons. Unlike Akoen, Lokiel was good with medicine and the battle-axe. In Akiet, there was no one who could work magic with wounds, except for Lokiel, which made him the only healer in the village. Lokiel came from a family of healers and warriors; in fact, the great Kieler himself came from that family.
