The next day they saw Caoalais leave his tunnel. "Alright, we are going to spread out around Caoalais's lair to look for anything suspicious, like a trail of blood leading to nowhere," Said Akoen and with that they entered the tunnel. They looked for clues that could help them with killing Caoalais.

"I wonder when we get our godly powers?" Keflar said.

"Wait, you guys get godly powers? How come I don't get any powers like that!" Tanith said.

"Because you were never supposed to come on this quest," said Akoen.

"Maybe next time you don't come on quests you aren't supposed to!" said Keflar.

"Man, why don't you like Tanith?" Lokiel said.

"Because of what she did to me once," Keflar replied.

"What did she do?" Akoen asked.

"Yeah, what did I do?" Tanith said, she tried to hide a smirk, Keflar started to look embarrassed.

"Well...um...she took a lot of my swords when we were just kids," Keflar said quietly.

"After that he never liked me, before that, we were best of friends!" said Tanith. Keflar snorted and muttered something he definitely didn't want Tanith, or anybody to hear. Back then, they were more than friends, Tanith was Keflar's girlfriend. He could know if someone loved Tanith, he could see it in their eyes. He knew that Akoen loved Tanith, it made him jealous seeing Akoen and Tanith together.

"Um, I have a feeling that we are being watched," said Keflar,

"Let's head back to camp,", the others listened to him and headed back. He could see the love in Akoen's eyes. He wanted to tackle him, even though he was one of his only friends, but then he saw Tanith. She was also in love with Akoen.

"I might as well leave them alone, Tanith doesn't want me, she wants Akoen, they are made for each other," Keflar thought.
