Chapter 13

"My god, finally! Do you know how long I've been waiting for you?!"

Draco's sound echoed through the bathroom, making me realize that I was way too late. My knees were still weak as I noticed that he might even be mad at me.

I just looked at him, trying to read his posture, when his features eased, and a bright smile crossed his face.

"I don't care,

have you seen what we can accomplish if we team up?" he opened his arms, welcoming me for a hug. "I'm so proud of you."

There was nothing I wanted more in this moment, then to be captured by his sheltering arms.

I approached him with quick steps, falling into his arms, as I pressed my head onto his chest inhaling every ray of his scent.

He looked down on me, slowly stroking my hair as he did.

After a while he removed my head from his chest, his hand resting on my cheek, as he looked into my eyes.

It once again made me realize how much I needed him, and how much I would renounce to be with him. He cupped my chin with his hand, slightly lifting it while he spoke.

"Without you I might have lost today." He placed a soft kiss on to my cheek, brushing his thumb over the spot he had just kissed.

"Thank you."

A slight smile formed on my lips as I looked up into his caring eyes, knowing that he would always be there for me.

He would understand what happened to me, I was sure of that.

I opened my lips, being certain it was the right thing to tell him what happened, when he placed his finger on my lips.

"Shh." He brushed his finger over my lips, placing his other hand behind my neck.

"Come here." Slowly pulling me closer to him, he placed his soft lips on mine, giving me a caring kiss.

Everything about him was encouraging me to open up to him; like he would understand.

Our kiss intensified, but I was ready to talk to him, so I broke the kiss.

"Draco, there is something I need to tell you."

His forehead slightly frowned, looking a bit concerned.

"Has it anything to do with me?"

"No, not you." I was wondering why he would ask that.

"Then it can wait." He whispered the words, as he pulled me back in for a kiss. Our lips collided and he pulled me in closer, kissing me passionately.

I wasn't ready, I wanted to talk to him first, so I broke the kiss again, trying to signalize to him that it was urgent.

"It's important. Can we please talk about it?"

He visibly got annoyed by this, as he ran his hand through his hair, biting his lips in impatience.

"All you want to do is talk- have I not told you that we can do that afterwards?"

The emptiness in his eyes scared me, and the insecurity inside of me made me doubt him in every way.

"Draco, please. This is important to me."

He rolled his eyes, letting go of my neck.

"Fine, what is it?"

My eyes looked into his, noticing how he didn't even pretend to listen closely.
