"Are you ready to surprise daddy, Kalen?" he nodded, keeping his concentration on the cupcake in his hand. "You have to be extra quiet, okay?" I adjusted Hunter in my arms, he sucked on his pacifier as he lay his head on my shoulder. I slowly pushed open the door to our bedroom, Odell lay on his back, his arm thrown over his stomach. I lightly smiled as his eyes slowly started to open. "Happy birthday, Daddy" his lips twitched at the corners as we moved to stand beside the bed.

"Mmm, this was a nice wake up call" Kalen thrust the cupcake to Odell who lightly laughed. "Is this for me?" Kalen nodded, giggling as he stumbled back against my legs.

"You going to say happy birthday to daddy, Handsome?"

"Happy b, Daddy" he squealed as he jumped forward, holding his arms out to Odell who pulled him onto his lap.

"Did you help make this cupcake?"

"He did. Hunter even helped out a little too" Odell's smile widened as he glanced up to meet my gaze. "He was more interested in trying to eat the ingredients, but he tried" he lightly laughed as he lowered the cupcake onto the table.

"I can't wait to eat it then" he nuzzled his face into Kalen's neck making him squeal. I lowered myself down onto the bed, adjusting Hunter on my lap. He curled himself into me, his hand fisting my shirt as he continued to suck on his pacifier. "What's up with you, Buddy?" Hunter whined, nuzzling himself more into me as Odell gently poked his cheek.

"You didn't get much sleep, did you, Baby? Those nasty teeth" I pressed a kiss to the top of his head.

"You were up with him last night?" I nodded, glancing to meet Odell's gaze. "You should have woke me."

"It's fine" I flashed him a light smile. "There wasn't much you could have done anyway. At least one of us had enough sleep" he rolled his eyes, glancing back down at Kalen as he moved himself off Odell's lap and cuddled into his side.

"Have they had breakfast?"

"Not yet."

"You hungry, K?" he nodded, glancing up at Odell, his thumb in his mouth. "Shall we get you and Hunter some breakfast?" he instantly pointed to the cupcake. "We'll grab some breakfast and then I'll eat the cupcake, okay?" I pushed myself to stand, adjusting Hunter in my arms.

"Shall we get downstairs then, Baby?" Odell helped him off the bed and I held my hand out for him. Kalen leant against my leg as Odell slowly slid out of bed. His leg is no longer in plaster but he's still having to use crutches to get around. He grabbed his crutches that were leant against the wall and then slowly stood. "You okay getting downstairs?" he nodded.

"I'll be fine. You focus on the boys."

"Come on then, Handsome. Let's get some breakfast" I kept my grip on Kalen's hand as I headed from the bedroom.

"Happy birthday, Baby Boy" my lips twitched into a smirk as Heather cupped Odell's face and leant in to kiss his cheek. I hit him lightly on the arm as he playfully rolled his eyes, a smile instantly forming on his face. Heather's attention then fell on Hunter as he whined, nuzzling his face into my shoulder, covering it instantly in saliva. "What's up with you, Hunter?" she stroked his cheek with the back of her finger.

"It's your teeth, isn't it, Baby?"

"You want to come cuddle?" Heather held her arms out to him. He just nuzzled his face more into my neck.

"Don't take it too personally, Mom, he did it to me earlier" I glanced to Odell as I pressed a kiss to Hunter's forehead. Hunter, when he's in pain or he's upset about something, he always wants me. He clings himself to me.

"What about you then, Kalen? Can I have a cuddle?" we all laughed as he threw himself at Heather. "You give the best cuddles" he giggled as Heather lifted him onto her hip. I smiled as he kept his arms tight around her neck. "Did you get anything nice for your birthday then, O?" we spoke with Heather for a moment and grabbed ourselves some drinks before we made our way into the living room.

Odell didn't want to do anything for his birthday, he said that he was just happy spending time with his family. I wanted to take him away to the cabin, just a long weekend away without Kalen and Hunter, but with Hunter not sleeping at night and constantly being attached to my hip, I decided against it. I can always surprise him with it another time when Hunter isn't grouchy from his growing teeth.

"You're being such a little grumpy butt today, Hunter" he continued to suck on his fingers, whining to himself as I pressed a kiss to his cheek. He still refused to move from my lap. "You're lucky we love you, huh?" I began to bounce him on my lap as I relaxed into Odell's side, his lips pressing against my temple. His arm wrapped around me, his fingers lightly caressing my shoulder. "I'm sorry that your birthday wasn't more exciting" I glanced up at him, just catching him as he rolled his eyes.

"I don't want a big fuss, Baby. I know that last year I went out and got a little drunk but I don't really want that anymore" my lips lightly twitched at the corners. "I'm a family man now" I couldn't help but to lightly laugh.

"You're a family man, huh?" he nodded, his lips twitched into a light smile.

"Yep and I love you" he leant down to peck my lips.

"I love you too. I promise that we'll do something together, just us two" he nodded as he kissed my temple, pressing his lips to my ear. His hot breath flew against my neck.

"I'll be happy as long as I get my birthday sex" my jaw dropped as I gasped, managing to slap him lightly on the chest. "Joke" I rolled my eyes as he lightly laughed. My cheeks instantly burnt as Heather stepped into the room.
