Before my eyes had even opened, I could feel Odell staring at me. His eyes were practically burning holes in my face.
"Are you watching me, Odell?" he lightly laughed as he tightened his grip around my waist, pressing a kiss to my cheek. He kept his lips there as he spoke.
"Happy birthday, Baby" my lips twitched into a light smile as I forced my eyes open. He began to gently caress my hip, pushing his hand under my shirt. A breathy moan slipped from my lips as Odell began to kiss down into the nape of my neck. He instantly found my sweet spot. "I wanna give you my present before the boys get up" I finally forced my eyes open as Odell moved himself away from me and he sat up in bed. I slowly pushed myself up in bed, rubbing the sleep from my eyes as I leant back against the pillows. While Odell slid out of bed and disappeared into the closet, I grabbed my phone, my eyes briefly checked the time. 06:21. I'm actually surprised the boys aren't awake yet. To no surprise, I didn't have any messages. I locked my phone and lowered it back down onto the nightstand, allowing my eyes to close as I waited for Odell to return which he did just a few moments later.
"Odell?" I questioned as he carried the large rectangular cardboard box towards me. He remained quiet as he slid it onto the bed and then he took a seat beside me.
"Happy birthday" I stared down at the cardboard box with intrigue. "You can open it" he lightly laughed as he pressed a kiss to my temple. Odell's hand settled on my thigh as I slowly undid the cardboard. My jaw dropped, tears beginning to blur my vision at the large photo frame inside. It was a photo taken, professionally, of Kalen and Hunter. They both had their widest and cheesiest smiles on their faces.
"Wow" tears burnt the backs of my eyes. "How-How did you get them to sit still long enough for this?"
"Bribery" I rolled my eyes, quickly wiping the tears from my cheeks. "I brought them a toy each. They were very well behaved and the lady was amazing with them, she was so patient" I turned to meet Odell's gaze.
"I love it and I love you" his smile widened as I slid my hand along his cheek and I leant to kiss him. His hand that was settled on my thigh pushed its ways between my legs. "If you want that, you're gonna have to move this amazing photo" his lips twitched up into a smile. He moved himself away from me, being delicate with the photo frame as he moved it. I shimmied myself out of my panties, biting down on my lip as Odell pushed his boxers down his legs. I nibbled on my lip, lowering myself on the bed as he hovered over me.

"Go left" my eyebrows scrunched together but I turned the car anyway, heading down the road full of houses.
"Odell, where are we?" he just smirked back at me. I rolled my eyes, keeping my eyes on the road until Odell told me to stop. "Odell, seriously, where are we?" he just laughed as he climbed from the car. I released a breath as I followed behind him, pulling open the door and smiling down at Hunter. "Hi Handsome" he giggled as he held his arms up. I unclipped him from the car seat and settled him on my hip. I walked around to Odell who had a hold of Kalen.
"Hi Mama" he lifted his hand and waved at me.
"Hi Baby Boy" he giggled as he dropped his head onto Odell's shoulder. I then turned to the house we were in front of. "Why are we here, Odell?" he just smirked as he headed up the driveway. "I wonder what daddy has up his sleeve" I whispered as I pressed my lips to Hunter's temple. He just babbled back a reply. I combed my fingers through his curls as Odell gently knocked on the front door. A older lady pulled open the door with a wide smile.
"Hi Odell, it's nice to see you again" my eyebrows scrunched together as he nodded and reached out to shake her hand. "And that must mean that you're Demi?" I nodded, lightly smiling at her. "I'm Ava. Come on in" Odell signalled for me to step in first. I adjusted Hunter on my hip. "They're all through this way" my confusion must have been obvious on my face. "I'm guessing this is a surprise?" I glanced back at Odell who nodded with a laugh. "Follow me then" I watched Odell for a moment before I followed behind Ava. The moment we stepped into the back room, my mouth dropped. "Your little guy is the one with the blue collar" my eyes were frantically beginning to search for the puppy with the blue collar.
"Daddy, doggy" I glanced at Kalen, tears blurring my vision.
"You want to go and say hi to the doggy's?" he frantically nodded. Odell lowered him to the floor and we watched as he toddled instantly towards the puppies. He giggled as they surrounded him, beginning to jump up him. I was sort of transfixed on the spot until Odell spoke. "Our little guy is sat by your feet" I jumped, quickly wiping my cheeks as I glanced down, my heart instantly melting as the little puppy stared up at me.

"Hi Cutie" his ears pricked up as I spoke, his tail instantly beginning to wag. I crouched to his level, laughing as he jumped up at me. I scratched beneath his chin, glancing to Hunter who I still had a hold of.
"I kind of like the name Batman for him?"
"Batman?" Odell nodded as he began to fuss the dog.
"Batman" the dogs head tipped to the side, his tail freezing for a moment. "I think he likes it" I lightly laughed as the puppy began to run around in circles.
"What do you think of the puppies, Hunter?" his eyes locked with mine as he nibbled on his fingers. I pressed a kiss to his forehead as he babbled back. "I love you, Odell, but do you really think we can survive with two toddlers and a puppy?"
"We've got this, Baby" my smile widened as he leant to kiss me. "Happy birthday" I giggled, lowering Hunter to the floor as Batman moved to sniff him.
