~I have hated words and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right~
The bow turned out pretty awesome, Edmund made me a quiver that I can put the arrows in, across my back. As I made the bow, Edmund used one of Gabs pocket knives to create more spears for the others.
"Ready?" I ask as we stand at the border of the trees.
"Ready," the others say.
"Stick together, it's very dangerous," Edmund says.
"One question." Gab says.
"Yes?" I ask.
"How did you two learn to make this stuff?"
"Boot camp, growing up, our parents wanted us to learn how to survive if we have nothing," I tell them. "Although we do, but we need to be prepared if we get jumped."
"C'mon," Lucie says. "Let's go."
"Let's go," we all say and walk past the first tree. The forest smells of grass, water and death, but life was all around us. I lead with Edmund next to me, my hair in a messy bun under my beanie, the bow I made in my left hand.
"We'll get lost," James says.
"We have a map," Edmund stops pulling a map and showing James.
I start walking again before hearing a click.
"Stop!" I tell the others. "James."
He comes over carefully as I look at my feet without moving.
"S-Mine 35," Edmund says.
"What?" James asks.
"Type of bomb," I say closing my eyes.
"WHAT?!" The others shout.
"Shh!" Edmund says throwing his spear 10 meters away and starts climbing a tree and grabs hold of a vine. "MOVE BACK!" He shouts at the others who obey, then he swings, his arm goes around me and we go flying to the floor 10 meters from the bomb that just went off.
"Thanks," I say standing up.
"She could've died!" James shouts.
"Well, she didn't."
