~I've been in love. It's painful, pointless and overrated~
This room was empty, except for a single chair in the middle of the room, at the legs of the chair are cuffs, and also on the arm rests. There is a table at the back with swords, knives, spears and arrows. Oh god, I tell myself, a torture room? My stomach starts aching and my heart beat quickens to a rapid pace. I hear the door I came through open and I turn around about to let the arrow fly.
"Oh god!" I shout at James lowering the bow. "Don't sneak up on me like that!"
"Sorry, Emma." He says coming next to me, "what's this?"
"I'm guessing a torture room." I say then add, "I found people. They were almost dead, but I found a serum that healed them and they should be on their way back to the Lian Rocks."
"I know, I saw them run," he tells me. "Let's get out of this room."
So we exit the room and go to another hallway, this one small and has about two guards. James gives me the look I never wanted to see. We need to kill them. I shake my head at him.
"At least hurt them so they don't go after us," James suggests and I stiffly nod silently. I take a deep breath and step out into the light with my bow aimed on one man. They both notice and go after us, I let the arrow fly, hitting the first mans arm and he falls to the floor holding his wounded arm. The other runs at James but James' fist connects his mouth and he falls.
"Damn, I thought you shanks would be tougher," James laughs. "Shuck face."
I laugh a little as we run the the door.
"No other door was guarded, I wonder why this one was," I say to him. And it was true, all the doors I passed, weren't guarded. He is just so cute-no stop Emma. James swings the door open, revealing more guards, a table in the middle with a radio, a phone, computer, and someone tied up. It is a boy, his head down so I don't his face. But he has tan skin and dark hair, he is tied to the chair.
I know now why there are guards.
"Kill them," one guard says making the man tied up look up.
My heart sank.
