-staring at the ceiling in the dark, same old empty feeling in your heart. 'Cause love comes slow and it goes so fast~
Voices start as Slade goes next to the place where the spear and mask used to be. The water now brown and not clear, a large submarine is just off the bank of the water. The six of us-including my mum-behind him as he holds his hand up silencing all the voices.
"We recently met five new people to this island," Slades voice loud and scary. "They came in search of two people," he asks Edmund and I to step forward so we do. "Deathstroke took their mother, Renee, as prisoner." He paused looking at me and nods. I return the nod as he and Edmund step back and I step to where Slade was.
"Deathstroke happily gave my mother back to us, we lied and said we could use more warriors for your league. However, my father, Leon, is still not found and I am becoming extremely worried for him." I glance at Edmund and my mum who's eyes are full of anxiety and hurt but I hold on and hold my head high to continue. "My father is a great man, if he is here it shouldn't be hard to find him, if any of you have seen any new people please report back to me." I nod at Slade and stand next to my mum once again.
"My baby girls more confident," my mum squeezes my arm slightly and smiles as Edmund hugs me.
"Emma Williams is a very brave girl in the short time she and her friends have been here," Slade tells them. "I don't know how long they will be here but for as long as they are, they will all be in the league and have their warrior names. Emma's is already decided and so is her brothers, Nyssa Al Ghul is now her name that you will call her by, you will call Edmund," he points to him. "Ra's Al Ghul. Gabriel here is Maseo and the others are yet to be decided. Thank you all for your presence, please report to me singly to notify me of anything."

As Slade spoke to the other league members, I stand next to James watching my mum and Edmund walk around as she tells him stories of the 2 years that she has been here.
"You know, the name Nyssa really suits your spirit." James finally speaks up.
"Thanks," I say awkwardly and take a glance at him sideways. Now that I think about it, his features when he is angry or happy they change each time. Right now his bright eyes are almost glowing green and his dark brown hair is shining. The features that are almost all opposite to mine. He has bright green eyes, mine are light brown. Our hair colour are almost the same, though.
"You realise you're staring right?" He asks snapping me from my thoughts and I moved my gaze onto Lucie and Gab who are eating bananas and mangos. I wish I had a mango now...
"Sorry," I apologise to him. "I was just...." I struggle to find a word.
"Admiring me?" He jokes but I nod.
"Yeah. I guess I was," I say glancing at him again making his cheeks flush.
"You're so honest," he laughs crossing his arms across his chest.
"The truth is harsh but it's the truth. Better to know than not to know." I quote, taking a glance at one of the warriors who is chatting with Slade.
"Malcolm Merlyn," I whisper.
"What?" James says looking at me with his green eyes.
"Your league-warrior-name. Malcolm and Rebecca Merlyn," I explain. "I'll be back," I say walking off to Slade.
"Hey Nyssa!" He high fives me.
"Please call me Emma," I laugh.
"Can't. Once you get your league name, you have to be called by it."
"Oh. Okay. Uhh, I thought of James and Lucie's league names," I smile and he nods clearly waiting for me to continue. "Malcolm Merlyn and Rebecca Merlyn."
"Good job, Nys." He pats me on the back and nods towards the two siblings chatting.
"Go tell 'em," he says crossing his arms. I nod and run to James and then Lucie.
