Clary's POV

We told everyone that we were taking a much needed vacation, and after all the event that happened they understood. I had no idea where jace was taking me. He said we were going to go travel a bit and then after we have some fun we can travel around and find our home.

As we walk hand in hand down the London streets I couldn't be happier, we have traveled to so many different places and each of them are just as pretty as the next.

In every city jace made sure to buy a canvas in every city for me to paint. So far I have 12 different canvases I may have gotten a little carried away and made more than on piece per place we went.

But I couldn't help myself and 4 of the paintings are of jace.. those ones are my favorite ones- of him.

"So what do you think of London?" Jace questioned, I smile as look around then back to him

" I love it, the view, the people, I like just the overall vibe.. idk" I say as I look down a bit embarrassed, jace nudges me with his shoulder

"I think so too" he adds with a smile. I stop our stroll and wrap my arms around him. I don't care if we are in a busy area and people have to walk around us. I have the perfect man and I am going to do as I please with him.

I look up at him with my chin resting on his chest and uttered "I love you baby" he smiles back and adds "I love you baby doll.. let go get some food?yeah.. what sounds good?"

I smile and think " well I was thinking maybe we can have English breakfast again?" He grins "when are you going to want something other than an English breakfast?" I just shrug and grab his hand dragging me him to the shop.

Jace and I are still deciding on a place to make our home. We got back to the institute, we got a call from mom and Luke telling us to meet them at the institute.

Once we land inside the institute. We head to the library figuring that's where everyone is.

Once we get inside everyone is sat around and discussing they stop when we walk in

We give everyone a hug. "How was your trip?" Mom asked. I smiles "I was really good" she smile back then asked jace the same, " oh it was so great we have so many paintings from all the places we went that clary painted they are amazing you sound see them" jace boasts, I smack his arm "they are not that good" jace looks at me in shock, then closes my eyes with his fingers and wipes my eyes "jace what the hell are you doing" I say with a chuckle "oh I am just wiping your eyes out cause I don't think they are working" he say nonchalantly I burst out laughing "omg I can't"

A throat clears. We both stop and face them, they all got smiles on there face. I look down

Luke starts "anyways... we called because we may have someone who may know how to help jace with his fire" this has me listening

"Who?" I ask Luke looks at jace when he says "my sister" jace and I share a look of not understanding then just nod not seeing the big deal in visiting his sister

"I've never met your sister, where does she live?"

"Idris... are you ready to go?" I nod "I'll make the portal, everyone ready?" I ask then we go through on our way to meet someone new.

Luke knocks then a woman opens the door and stares at Luke in shock
