"athena, i know you're busy but call me back when you get this." aria said after getting her voicemail for a third time. harper was staying the night with her since athena had a concert shoot but jack had shown up, wanting to talk.

"everything okay?" matt, athena's best friend & concert photography partner, asked as they met up outside of the venue.

"yeah, this weeks just been ass."

"is it because of jack? i've been getting several instagram dms since your sister commented on his post."

"seriously? i haven't gotten any."

"thats probably because you don't check your instagram dms for nothing. but on another note, a few new groups reached out looking for a photographer. most are local like these guys but other than that there's a few bigger names in the pile too." they were getting their passes and then going to the back to meet with the band manager to see where they could go. "im sure f you asked jack.." athena rolled her eyes and continued getting everything ready before the band came over to meet them.

they enjoyed the night, it was a nice intimate indie concert and they managed to get some amazing pictures of the band and the fans. "breakfast tomorrow? we can go through emails and edit some of these pictures?" matt asked as he took off his mask and then walked down the sidewalk to their cars.

"you know im gonna start that tonight."

"well, then hangout tomorrow? no breakfast?"

"hangout tomorrow. no breakfast." they shared a hug and walked separate directions to their cars before going home. athena checked her phone before pulling out of the parking lot to see a missed call from aria.
