"Now thats not nice at all" Jack said coming across her private story as he went through snapchat.

"you just showed up, i didn't even have time to respond and you were already on my doorstep." athena answered, trying to clean up as much of the apartment as she could.

"i was in the area-"

"you live on the other side of town"

"but i was in the area and i wanted to drop by," he picked up a cup and carried it into the kitchen, spotting the smaller child-like plates & utensils but not mentioning it. It also didn't help that when athena and harper came home earlier, she'd just thrown all of their bags on the floor and went back out, "thena, stop cleaning." jack said placing a hand over her's and taking the trash bag from the other.

"it's not everyday you have some big time celebrity in your dingey small ass apartment." athena said as she removed her hands from his grasp and collapsed onto the couch.

"im just jack. not some 'big time celebrity'. besides, what would you call yourself?" he asked sitting down next to her.

"a normal person."

"why do you worry about hanging around me?"

"i don't. i'd just prefer if the people i had over didn't think i lived in pure chaos all the time-"

"okay, than lets go out." athena shot him a look, go out? on the town with jack harlow? trippin.

"no thanks."

"why?"

"i have stuff to do."

"like what? its saturday night ." Athena rolled her eyes, like being a mother? spending time with harper & doing laundry

"laundry. me time."

"another time then?" jack asked standing up from the couch to hug her goodbye.

"you're leaving?" she was surprised laundry was all it took for him to leave.

"you have "laundry" - he said with air quotes - "to do." athena rolled her eyes at his sarcasm. but besides laundry, she wanted to spend the night watching movies with harper before she had to go back to work the next morning.

"well then i guess i'll see you later" she said as he stepped out the door. he gave her a small smile before closing the door and leaving.
