a few weeks later, athena woke up to jacks instagram story claiming they were together and were just friends. she was heartbroken seeing him post that, but also had a feeling it wasn't him.

"oh you're kidding" aria said as she walked into athena's room. athena was already sliding on her shoes and grabbing her keys. he was at the studio? yeah so was she. "athena-" aria picked up harper and followed athena out the door.

"you coming or not?" she stopped for a split second to open the door then continued on her mission, aria finally deciding to join as well.

"that has to be his management. its not him" aria tried to reason as the phone rang. it was donnie. "nows really not a good time-"

"yeah, i saw it too. athena you okay?" aria accepted the facetime request and adonis immediately knew what was going on. "i'll be there in 10" if his sisters were going, he sure as hell was going to be their back up.

the two cars pulled up at the same time, parking and meeting at the entrance. aria held harper as they walked into the studio and waited in the lobby for them to come back. athena couldn't believe what was going on. he had told her several times over the last few weeks he didnt care if anyone knew. now the pictures photoshopped??

"do you know what you're going to say?" donnie asked, but she was going to wing it. with no answer they followed her to the desk.

"hi, how can i help you?"

"yeah, we're here to see jack harlow" as athena spoke she heard the elevator ding and out came the familiar woman with jack in tow. donnie shared a look with aria as athena began walking toward them.

"oh so we're doing this now?" he said jogging to her.

"are you fucking serious?" she'd definitely gotten his attention now.

"athena?" he was surprised to see her, they weren't supposed to see each other until later.

"dont act surprised. what the fuck is your instagram story about?" he looked behind her to aria and harper as they left the lobby to sit in the car, not wanting her to see all of this happen.

"i haven't been on instagram today-" she turned to his manager, connecting aria's previous statement to the moments actions.

"how about your tell him what you posted then" jack was already well on his way to his instagram and looking at his story, immediately deleting it.

"can we talk?" he asked athena, trying to bring their very public conversation to a more remote area. "make sure donnie , aria and harper get some water and snacks" he said to his manager making her disappear as well so they had no interruptions.

"you okay? im sorry about this athena." jack asked as they popped into his producers empty office.

"i'm fine. just thinking about everything. this was one of the reasons why i was so against all of this in the first place " she looked down, putting a hand on her stomach remembering the last time something like this happened. but it wasnt a manager, it was the shitty people they grew up with and her own stressful home situation. he put his hand over hers, reminding her she wasnt alone.

"all i want is for you to be comfortable in this. if its too much for you, let me know."

"i cant think of anything that ive wanted more than you since i was 12" she looked up to meet his eyes.

"we still have each other and harper."

"which is quite enough for me." she agreed leaning up to kiss him. "does this mean i can photo dump the pictures from the concert?"

"as long as i look fly" she playfully hit his shoulder as they walked out of the office and went to find her siblings and daughter.
