I would say that the lights where blinding. But that would have been a massive understatement. I opened the door and stepped out, immediately I was struck with the reporters shouting and the cameras clicking.
I placed out my hand as Elizabeth swung her heeled feet onto the carpet. She reached out for my hand and I helped her out. She flashes me a quick smile accompanied with an adorable nose scrunch, which makes my stomach do somersaults.
This woman has made me feel things I never imagined were possible. And I love that about her. We link arms as we make our way through the first wave of cameras and yelling people. I'd never experienced this before so it was safe to say I was nervous. Soon, we came to a reporter which Elizabeth felt inclined to speak with.
"Hello Elizabeth, it's so nice to see you. You look amazing." She says, bringing the mic to her own mouth, then holding out to get her response.
"Thank you, you look amazing." She replies curtly. If I were to guess I'd say that this isn't the first time that she's done an interview with hers
"And who's your date?" She asks nicely, flashing me a warm smile. "Some fans recognise you from the restaurant downtown?"
"This is [Y/N], my date. Doesn't she look amazing?" Lizzie asks them, showing my off. She unlinks our arms and gestures to my outfit. The pair of them look my up and down.
"She does. And I have to ask, is she your date in the traditional sense, or is it solely platonic?" The reporter questions, holding the mic out to Liz.
She looks up at me as if she's asking me what she should reply. I flash her a smile and nod, allowing her to answer as she wishes. After all, this day is all about her and the cast. "Traditional sense." She replies, then looking up at me and smiling.
"Okay, so does this mean that you're bisexual?" She asks her. I feel as though this question made her nervous as her hand snakes around my waist, pulling me closer to her. To calm her, I place my hand on her lower back and gently rub circles. It seems to do the trick as her grip loosens.
"I would have to say yes. Before I'd met [Y/N] I never really had a strong attraction women, but look at her." She says, pulling away and gesturing to my outfit. This girl sure knows how to make me blush. "She looks stunning."
She stands up a little taller on her heels and lightly kisses my cheek. I can physically feel the blush on my cheeks as the heat floods to my face. Of course I loved the gesture, but I couldn't feel as though it was more of a stun than because she truly wanted to do it. She knew the cameras were on us and that the whole world would see it. I just had mixed feelings about it, that's all.
"I wanted to ask [Y/N]," the reporter asks, I nod, agree to answer a question. "I wanted to ask if you were a marvel fan yourself?"
"I would consider myself a fan. I've watched all of the movies and am pretty up to date with the situation, but I wouldn't call myself an avid fan." I respond, trying my best to be professional.
Midway through speaking Elizabeth slides her hand into mine, giving my hand a light squeeze. I'm sure that it forced a blush on my face. She has me wrapped around her finger and I honestly love it. I'm having so much fun. The remaining portion of the interview is about Elizabeth and her movie. It warms my heart to see Elizabeth talk about her work and how much she loves the people around her. She's so passionate and it's so heartwarming to see.
She takes my hand and leads me off to the main section of the photos, in front of the huge backdrop with the producers and movie titles.
"I'll take some photos alone for a while and then I'll call you over and we can do some together, okay?" She asks, the corners of her red lips pulling up into a smile. Her green eyes are full of adoration that I have no say in wether or not I smile. It's instinctive at this point.
