Darry threw Two-Bit onto his shoulders as he carried him to the Dingo."man he's gotta stop drinking so much,he's becoming one of those weird cartoon characters."i said,"isn't that a good thing?it's a dream come true!"Soda joked.Steve laughed,we then heard Two-Bit start to gag.he escaped Darry's grip and ran to the back of the Dingo,Ponyboy went after him to see if he was ok.Johnny seemed worried,"don't worry Johnnycakes Two-Bit will be fine,you know how he is always getting shit faced drunk."I reassured him.Two-Bit and Ponyboy came back,"he's all good now,puked his guts out."Ponyboy reassured us."let's just go inside and get him some water."Darry suggested,we all nodded in agreement.Darry helped Two-Bit inside,Dally didn't even care about what was going on.he had his arm around my shoulder the whole time,and he looked...nervous?
"Why does he look nervous?"I thought as we found a booth.we all sat down at the booth(Two-Bit at the end,Darry next to him,and Soda siting next to him.i sat at the end across from Two-Bit,Dally sat next to me,Johnny sat next to Dally,and Ponyboy sat next to Johnny.there was no space for Steve so we had to ask for a chair,which for some reason made Soda giggle.)and immediately asked for some water for Two-Bit,he looked like he was on the brink of death."Hey Lana?"Dally said,I looked at him."Yeah Dal,what is it?"I asked him,he gulped.now he seemed even more nervous,"Dallas Winston,nervous?ok something is definitely wrong."I thought."Dally you ok?you seem nervous."I asked,he sighed.He looked at the gang,they nodded and smiled at him.he nodded back,he then looked at me.
"Lana I want to ask you a really important question."he began to say,"ok..."I trailed off,he held both of my hands.i liked when he held my hands,it was sort of comforting in a way."Well uh,you see,I uh-"Steve then cut him off,"Come on Romeo just propose to her already!"he yelled.i gasped while the gang all glared at him,Soda smacked the back of his head.I could see in Dally's eyes that rage and anger was starting to build up,"Dally."i said.i gently pointed his face towards mine,getting him to look away from Steve."I accept."i said,grinning.his anger and rage immediately melted away,"you...you do?"he asked.i smiled and nodded,he laughed happily.he then cheered,so did the whole gang.he dug into his pocket and took out a ring,he gently slipped it on my finger.
