Lana's pov
It was really bright out when Dally and I woke up,well actually I woke up first.it usually happens,and I love when it does.i smiled as I looked at Dally,who was still fast asleep.the sunlight shined through the curtains,revealing some hidden freckles on Dally's face.i exhaled,wrapping my arms around his back and resting my head on his rest.i felt him resting his head on top of my head,he was grumbling and mumbling something but i didn't know what.i gently kissed his nose,after that I untangled myself from his arms and began to get changed.by the time I put on my socks Dally finally woke up,he yawned and rubbed his eyes."morning sleepyhead."I joked,"Mornin."he mumbled.i handed him his clothes,"thanks doll."he said as he gently kissed my cheek.
"You're welcome."i said,smiling.after Dally got changed we walked downstairs and out of Buck's,we were on our way to the Dingo to get some breakfast."so why were Johnny and Ponyboy here last night?"I asked him as we got in the car,rather then walking there we decided it would be easier to drive there."I don't know if you wanna know baby,besides it'll probably be all over the papers soon."he replied as he got in the driver's seat while I got in the passenger's seat,I widened my eyes."did Ponyboy and Johnny do something illegal?!"I nearly exclaimed,I luckily was able to keep my voice down a bit so nobody would get suspicious.
"Relax doll,we can talk about this more after breakfast:I'm starving."Dally reassured me as he started the car,I eyed him a bit before shaking my head and buckling up.Dally began to drive us to the Dingo,on our way there we saw the Curtis house.Dally sighed,"damn it Ponyboy."he mumbled.i hesitated,"Dally stop the car."I commanded.Dally didn't listen,"Dally I want to know what happened please."I begged.we stopped at a red light,he looked at me."fine,I'll tell you."he said,finally caving in.
