I remembered the day everything changed
Heck,how could I forget it?
It was 12 in the morning,Dally and I were fast asleep in bed.I was exhausted and sore(ya know from drag racing all day and having sex with Dally a couple of hours ago),that's when we heard a knock on the door."Dally,Lana,you guys awake?"we heard Buck ask through the door,"no,buzz off."Dally grumbled."someone's here to see you."Buck said,"who is it?"I asked groggily as Dally buried his face into my shoulder."Johnny Cade and Ponyboy Curtis."Buck replied,Dally and I immediately woke up.we quickly got changed and opened the door,I followed Dally past Buck and down the stairs.he was right,Johnny and Ponyboy were here."Pone?Johnnycakes?its like,practically midnight."I pointed out as Dally yawned,"what are you guys doing here?"he asked them.
"We-We need Dally's help."Johnny stuttered,Dally looked at me."this is your department Dal,I'm going back to bed."i said,I walked back inside and up the stairs.i plopped back into bed and closed my eyes,I heard footsteps but I knew it was Dally.i overheard him talking to Johnny and Ponyboy about something but I didn't know exactly what they were talking about,my brain was half asleep.I regret not staying,I regret going back to bed,and I regret not helping Johnny and Ponyboy.
at the time:I assumed it was just a simple problem and that Dally would help them out no problem
but I was wrong
