I was at the Curtis house when everything changed
Steve was devouring cake,Soda was combing his hair,Darry was looking at bills,and I was watching cartoons with Two-Bit.
That's when the phone rang
"I'll get it!"everyone(except for Darry)yelled,we all eyed each other."oh it's on!"I thought,we all immediately scrambled to get to the phone.unfortunately though Soda beat us all to it,he stuck his tongue out at us.we all angrily glared at him,Two-Bit and I sat back down on the couch and Steve continued to eat cake,this didn't last though."guys!Ponyboy,Johnny,and Dally are in the hospital!"he exclaimed,"WHAT?!"everyone(except for Soda)exclaimed."WE GOTTA GO,NOW!"I yelled at everyone,they nodded.Darry,Steve,and Soda got in Darry's truck while Two-Bit and I got in his car.i drove despite Two-Bit insisting that he should drive,it was as if he forgot I'm a drag racer.
I practically broke the speed limit as I rushed us over to the hospital.i managed to perfectly park the car,we both scrambled to get out and followed Darry inside.Darry,Soda,and the rest of the gang reunited with Ponyboy.Johnny was seriously hurt,and Dally...well I didn't know,"I'm looking for my husband Dallas Winston."I asked a nurse."he's in that room."she said,pointing at the room behind her.i thanked her and ran past her to Dally's room.i saw him lying on a hospital bed with an ice pack on his head,I nearly broke down.i hugged him tightly and sobbed,"I'm ok baby,I'm ok."he reassured me.
Unfortunately though
Things were going to go even more downhill from there
