I bumped other cars as I focused on the road,I knew I was going to win anyways but I focused on the road regardless."AND THE WINNER IS LAURA CASTER!"the announcer said,I parked the car and climbed out.i took off my helmet,revealing my face.my hair has grown a bit,by grown a bit I mean it's up to my neck.i looked around the crowds cheering,I immediately saw the gang cheering:Soda and Steve we're going nuts,Two-Bit looked drunk(really drunk),Johnny was holding onto Ponyboy's arm and looking around nervous,Ponyboy and Darry were cheering,and Dally was clapping while smoking.i grinned and waved at the gang,I had my helmet under my armpit as I walked down a hallway."here's your money Laura."the announcer said,handing me an envelope.
I opened it and counted my money,"thanks a million Harry."I thanked him.he nodded and walked back to his office,the minute he left I was tackled by Soda and Steve."OOF"I yelled as I was being squished,"Man ya were great Laura!"Two-Bit said drunkly."Sodapop Curtis,Steve Randle,get off of my girlfriend!"Dally growled,Soda and Steve immediately got off of me.as he helped me up Darry said,"you were great as usual Laura."I smiled and thanked him."LETS CELEBRATE AT THE DINGO!"Two-Bit hiccuped,he almost fell over but luckily Ponyboy and Johnny managed to catch him before he could even fall on his face and pass out.
