Chapter 4 ~ Girls Day Out

•ASHLEES POV•
I woke up the next morning by a text from Shawn.
S - What ya up to today
A - Not sure yet I'm at Kenna's. You?
S - Was gonna ask if you two wanted to come to the cinemas later this arvo.
A - I'll ask when Kenz wakes up. I'll text ya later. Xx
S - Okay. Bye. Xx
I went out of messages and into twitter. I went through my feed and it was all the same thing as usual. I checked all my other social media and it was all normal too. I went into my music, put in my headphones, started playing my playlist and went downstairs to start making breakfast for when Kenna wakes up. I got out the pancake mix and began to put the mixture together. Once it came time to poor it into the pan I made really wide ones so we could put ice-cream and maple syrup on top. I soon finished cooking all the pancakes and had half stacked on one plate and the other half stacked on another. As I had just finished stacking them, Kenna walked downstairs and her eyes widened.
"Aww babe. You didn't have to do this." She smiled.
"Nope. I wanted to." I smiled back in a stupid way and we both started laughing.
"Oh and by the way, what are we doing today because Shawn asked me if we wanted to go to the cinemas with him?" I said remembering my messages with him this morning.
"Um... we were just gonna go to the mall so it's all good. We can go." She said smiling.
"Sweet. I'll just text him now then?" she just nodded and started eating her pancakes after putting ice-cream and maple syrup on top.
A - Hey Shawn. Were just gonna head to the mall for a few hours and we'll come later. What time and what movie?
S - I was thinking 'Insurgent' and its at 5:35 this arvo.
A - Okay. We'll see you then. Xx
S - Yep K xx
I finished my pancakes and went upstairs and got my clothes for the day out of my bag. White ripped jeans, a flowy, floral croptop, a cute headband, a black kimono and my black heels. With a few accessories and a long strap bag. (Picture above or to the side. Depending on device. Left is McKenna's outfit and right is Ashlee's.)
I walked into Kenna's ensuite and got changed. After I came out I saw that Kenz had gotten changed too. She's wearing black ripped jeans, a white flowy crop top, a black kimono and her white wedges with a beanie and a few other accessories. I grabbed my phone and it had my 'sorry not sorry' case on in.
Kenz and I decided to walk considering it was only a 5 minute walk. We arrived at the mall and the first shop we went in was Forever 21. I got a small bag of stuff and so did Kenna. We then went into American Apparel and she got a small bag, unlike me who walked out with a bag and a half. Im beginning to regret one ~ Walking here and two ~ Walking here. Now we have to carry all our stuff home and I have to ride with it when I go back to my place.
But anyway...
We went into a few more shops and in total I ended up with 4 bags of clothes and a small bag of accessories. Oh and one more small bag for a few hats and beanies. Kenna only had 3 bags and another small one for hats, beanies and accessories. We'd passed a lot of hours and it was now about 2:25. We quickly bought an Arizona each and began to walk home. I took off my heels and so did Kenz.
When we arrived at about 2:35 I put my stuff I bought with my other bag and Kenz and I began to watch Divergent just to refresh our mind for this afternoon. By the time the movie was finished it was about 5:00 with the few stops we had. Just as we turned the TV off I got a text from Shawn. Wow. He always has perfect timing.
S - On my way over now.
A - Okay. See ya soon, and just by the way you have perfect timing all the time. Haha. Xx
S - Yep that's me allll the time... Not. Haha. Xx
I locked my phone and chucked it down the end of the bed.
"Shawn will be here in a minute or two." I told Kenz.
"Okay. I'll just put my flats on. I can't be bothered to wear heels if we're just gonna be sitting down." I nodded, agreeing and went to my bag and got out my new flats I bought today.
A few minutes later Shawn arrived and Nash and the two jacks were in the car too. We got in the car and we were off to the cinemas.
