Longer than 6 seconds (MAGCON)

Chapter 12 ~ Please let me explain...

•CAMERON'S POV•
Asha slowly began to walk over to her seat next to me after just staring at the seating arrangement for about 1 minute. When she got closer I was about to say something but I saw the hurt in her eyes and a look that was pleading for me to not talk. I felt like absolute shit after what I'd done to her and ignored the look that was coming my way.
"Asha, you do not understand how sorry I am. I jus-" she cut me off which I had a feeling she would do.
"Please Cam just save it and please leave me alone." She was almost crying and thankfully the teacher didn't turn up so we had a free period.
"No. Asha, listen to me. Please let me explain then you can be as angry at me as you like." She thought for a few seconds before nodding in agreement then looked down at her feet.
"I broke up with Lox." Asha's head shot up and she had a confused look on her face.
"It wasn't fair on her. I can't be in a relationship with Lox when I like another person. I like you Asha, alot. and obviously as more than just a friend. I know that kissing you was the wrong thing to do because I was still with Lox but I couldn't stop myself and I sure as hell don't regret it Asha. Please just forgive me. You seriously don't understand how freakin' sorry I am. I jus-" she cut me off before I could finish but she didn't cut me off the way I expected.

It took a few seconds to realise what was happening, but as reality came back to me I kissed Asha back. I smiled into the kiss and put my hand on the back of her neck.
After a few seconds she pulled away and buried her head into the crease of my neck.
"I forgive you Cam." she mumbled into my neck.
"Thanks Ash. And in that case I'll be at your room at 6:30pm to take you on our first date." I winked and she nodded with the biggest smile on her face.
I felt so bad for making her feel guilty by kissing her whilst I was with Lox but I am just happy that she's mine now. Well not officially but she will be soon. And that's a promise.
•ASHLEE'S POV•
Cam was explaining to me why the kiss happened and I could see the guilt in his eyes and couldn't stand it. Before he could say anything else I shut him up and kissed him. He was hesitant for 3 or 4 seconds but he finally kissed back and I felt him smile into the kiss.
We planned a date for tonight and then we just talked about random things like when the next MagCon event was. 24th of July. This time next week I'll be in Texas with the boys getting ready for a show.
The rest of my day at school went by really quick because I was excited about my date with Cam tonight. I ran out of my last class for the day and straight to the office to pick up Minion. (If you don't remember. That's her penny board.) I rode home to the MagCon apartment and ran upstairs to my room. I chucked my bag onto my bed and started looking through my closet for what I would wear.
I had no idea so I texted Cam.

A-ok. I'll see you later. Don't come to my room. I don't want you to see me till our date. 😋 xx

I looked to my cupboard again and spotted the perfect dress. It was a simple black dress with cut outs at the sides with a skater dress design. I picked my black wedges to go with it and a few cute creamy coloured accessories to match. I still had about 2 hours so I didn't get changed yet.
I picked my pale pink nail polish and began painting my nails after starting my 'Jack and Jack' playlist. They're like brothers to me and I'm so proud of them.
Once I was finished painting my nails I straightened my hair and did my make up. I walked out of my ensuite and checked the time. 20 minutes till my date with Cam. I got dressed and put on my wedges and accessories. I decided to change my phone case and put on my dreamcatcher one. By the time I was ready it was 6:25 so I decided to wait outside my room for Cam. I oped my door, walked out and closed the door behind me only to find a note taped to the outside of my door...
