Chapter 11 ~ But I guess thats life...

•ASHLEE'S POV•
Kenna left a few hours ago to shawn's place and left me at her apartment. Yep. Just hers. We were at her parents earlier but we came here and watched Teen wolf. I'm used to being at hers alone though and it is sometimes nice to have the silence and peace.
On a negative note, it's Sunday which means I have school tomorrow, which also means I have to face Cam considering he's in more than half my classes and usually sits beside me.
I put on my pyjamas which were a pair of comfy, black shorts and a lose, lilac half top, and got into the double bed in the spare room, basically mine, in Kennas apartment. I texted Matt for a while and we organised to have a brother, sister weekend next weekend. After I said goodbye, I laid on the bed and eventually fell asleep.
*Next morning*

I woke up to the sound of 'Like I'm gonna lose you' by Meghan Trainor ft. John Legend playing from the kitchen. I rolled over and put a pillow over my head to try and drain out the noise. When It didn't work, I gave up and slowly got out of the spare bed. I walked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen and every step I felt my feet hitting the cold timber flooring. When I got into the kitchen I was submerged in the smell of warm delicious pancakes and a bright, happy Kenna dancing around the kitchen.
"Eat up sleeping beauty. 30 minutes till school." Kenz chimed.
"Okay. One, how are you so awake and two, why the hell didn't you wake me up earlier?" I almost screamed at Kenna.
"Well the answer to question one is coffee and two is well I don't know but what ever." Kenz is way to energetic from the coffee but I can tell that there is still something that has her extremely happy.
"What's got you so happy little shit?" I asked with a smirk as I grabbed some pancakes.
"Good question. My answer is... I'm no longer single." I squealed in response and jumped out of my chair to hug her. I instantly knew it was Shawn because when Kenna likes someone there's no way she'd say yes to anyone else. She pulled away and her expression changed to a more subtle face. I knew what was coming next.
"What are you gonna do about Cam?" She asked as I predicted.
"I'm not sure but let's hope I get through now first. I need to eat then get changed and do my make up and chuck some stuff into my bag for school." Kenz nodded in reply. I finished eating my pancakes then went back upstairs to get changed into my pre picked outfit. A pair of light wash, high waisted, denim jeans, a lose tank top, my ombré beanie and my white low cut converse. I walked to the bathroom and did a natural coloured smokey eye and other basic makeup then back out to the kitchen to throw a few snacks into my brown, leather bag for the day. I put my wallet into my bag and swung my bag over my shoulder. I looked up to see Kenna playing around with my phone so I quickly snatched it off her and put it in my back pocket.
"I'm ready Kenz. I'm just waiting on you now." I stated with a smart ass attitude. She just rolled her eyes and laughed and grabbed her mint green penny board and walked out the door. I picked up my pale lilac penny board and followed her, locking the door behind me and jumping onto minion (which by the way is the name of my penny board) and skated after her.
A few minutes later we arrived at school and got off our penny boards. I picked mine up and so did Kenz.
"You ready?" If I answered Kenna truthfully she's say we could go home but I need to face him. I can't avoid Cam for ever.
I nodded and took a deep breath before opening one of the large double doors and slowly walked in.
Thankfully I didn't see Cam anywhere. I have no clue what I'll do when I see him let alone what I'll say. I just hope that we don't still have to sit in our seating plan in English, which is what I have first period, because my seat is next to Cam. I followed Kenz and down the hall to the cafeteria and before we went in we made sure Cam wasn't there. Thankfully he wasn't and neither was Lox. I don't hate Lox and I don't think the others do either. She can just be... difficult at times. But she's actually an amazing friend and so fun to be around.
Kenna and I walked over to the gang, minus Cam and Lox, and sat down with them. Almost as soon as we sat down we had to get back up because the bell rang.
Kenna had History so I walked to English with Matt, Shawn and Aaron. As soon as I entered the classroom i saw the board and it said 'seating plan applies today' my heart stopped beating but it soon started again and I looked over to my seat to see someone I was hoping not to see this early in the morning. But I guess that's life...
