Chapter 2 ~ Dreams for the Future

•ASHLEES POV•
You know how earlier I said that Mahogany and I were like sisters? Yeah? Well... Forget it. I know that she doesn't know I have liked cam for years and if she had of known she wouldn't have hurt me like she has. But I don't care. I'm so glad I still have McKenna though.
"Aww. I'm so happy for you." I faked a smile.
"Thanks. But I'm still not sure about it. Like... I mean it's exciting but I'm not actually sure if I like him. To be honest." She explained frowning. I guess this kinda gives me an advantage.
The lesson ended quickly and I ran to find Kenz. I've told her that I like Cam and I know she'll have the best advice.
I soon found her exactly where I thought I would. At our table with everyone else. With Cam, Lox (Mahogany), Nash, Carter, Jack Glinsky, Jack Johnson, Shawn and the rest of the gang.
"Hey Ash" Cam smiled holding Lox's hand.
"Hi. I got to go. Bye." I don't even know why I said it but I did.
I grabbed Kenz's wrist and pulled her to our spot. No one in the school knows about our spot. I don't even think the principle knows. Its in a corridor that barely anyone goes in. It's next to a vending machine (one of the many Cam has hacked at our school) and the handle is really small and blended in. I looked around and make sure no ones looking. I opened the door and pushed Kenz in and got in after her and closed the door.
"What's wrong Asha?" Kenz has a nickname for me but I just call her Kenna or Kenz. She calls me Asha and I honestly don't know how I got that nickname. But I like it.
"Lox and Cam." I say simply knowing she'll know what I mean and I started crying.
"Aww babe come here." She pulled me into her shoulder and hugged me. She gives the most amazing hugs and they can cheer me up any day. Kenna's the most understanding person and I'm so lucky to have her as my best friend/sister.
"It's gonna be okay and I doubt they'll last anyway Asha." She reassured me smiling. I sat up, smiled back and nodded.
"Do you wanna go back out and just chill by ourself?"
"Nah. Let's go back to the gang. I'll have to get used to it." I fake smiled again.
"Hun. Don't give me fake smiles. I know you too well for you to do that." She laughed and so did I.
We walked out of our little hide out and back to the table.
"Hey where'd you go?" Cam asked us worried.
"Just to talk about girly things." Kenna said smirking. She has saved me from breaking down so many times.
"Okay." Cam just nodded it off.
I zoned into the conversation and found out that everyone was planning they're future and that they'd all move in together and so would Kenna and I. I just plainly did yet another fake smile.
Me and Kenna have always had a dream to get a small apartment and live together. Just the two of us. I honestly don't think I'd be able to live with that many guys and put up with having to see Lox and Cam together everyday. I zoned out of everything after that and just went through all my social media snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, tumblr and all that stuff.
The rest of the day went by quick and I finally got out of the hell hole. I walked to the bike racks and got on my air walk cruiser bike (If you don't know what it is look it up.) and rode home.
Finally the weekend. Yayyy

Okay guy as some of yall may have noticed I changed her name from JayLee to Ashlee. Just because I like that name better. I also changed the name of the book and its now 'Longer than 6 seconds' it's 6 because a vine goes for 6 seconds but ALLLLLL credit goes to my amazing friend Emily ( canyoureadthis ) for the name.
