Chapter 3 ~ Girls with Guitars

•ASHLEES POV•
As soon as I got home I put my bike away and ran to my room I picked up my guitar. I started playing the first song that came to my head. It was Shawn's new song 'Stitches'.
"I thought that I've been hurt before
But no one's ever left me quite this sore

I only got that far because my phone started ringing and it was the same song. (A/N: if you can't tell... I'm in love with 'stitches' at the moment I've practically had it on repeat since it's been out.) I looked at my screen and saw that it said Cam's name. I answered it just because I can't push him away for something he didn't even do.
"Hey Ashy."
"Hey Cammy." I said and laughed knowing he hated it when I called him that.
"Don't call me that ya little butthead." I started cracking up laughing.
"Wow Cam. Butthead? Really. And by the way if you don't wanna be called Cammy... Well I don't know but anyway seriously though? Butthead? Out of all things." I finally said after I stopped laughing my head off.
"Yeah it was the first thing that came to my head." He laughed which then made me laugh too. We laughed for a minute or two until I finally asked what he called for.
"Okay well I need some help sis. I don't know what to do about Mahogany. I mean I know we've only been together for a few hours but I feel like she's hiding something from me. Do you have any idea of what's going on or what I should do?" He explained/asked.
"Well I haven't been in this position before but I would just talk to her."
"Okay. Thanks Ash. Love Ya."
"All good. Bye." After that he hung up.
I picked up my guitar again and started playing 'A Little Too Much'. Also by Shawn.
(A/N: I would put the lyrics in but I'm one of those people that prefer to fill a chapter with the actual story rather than lyrics. Unless it's short like what I did with 'Stitches'. Let me know what yall want in the comments though. Lyrics or no lyrics?)
I played a few more songs until I was interrupted... Again... but this time by roommate, Alannah.
"Ash! Kenna's here" I heard her yell from down stairs.
"Okay. Can you tell her to come up here? Thanks." I yelled back.
A moment or two later McKenna arrived at my door and smiled when she saw me playing guitar. She came into my room and picked up my other guitar. I had my off white one and she had picked up my black one. They're both steel string and acoustic. I stopped playing and asked what song she wanted to do.
"How about 'Show you' by Shawn?" I nodded and we started playing. Cam, Kenna, Shawn and I have been best friends for years. We've been with Shawn since he started his music career and we've been supporting him the whole time. Kenna and I know every song off by heart and were so excited for his album to come out on April 14th. Honestly I thought being his best friends he would have let us hear but nope. He says we have to wait just like everyone else. I've already pre-ordered it and so have Kenna and the rest of Magcon.
After Kenna and I had finished playing she invited me to have a sleepover and I agreed. I packed some stuff into a backpack and told Lannah (Alannah). I went out the back and grabbed my bike knowing Kenz would have rode here.I put my bag on my back and rode down the driveway towards Kenz. We left and about 10 minutes later we arrive at her house. We put our bikes in the backyard and ran up to her room. I chucked my bag in the corner and we both jumped on her bed and she turned on Netflix. 15 episodes of 'Teen Wolf' later at about 1:30am we finally went to sleep.
