•ASHLEE'S POV•
While I had the blindfold on, I had a million different emotions and thoughts going through my head.
'What if he ditches me?'
'Why has he put in so much effort?'
'Why is my stomach doing flips?'
'Am I actually about to go on a date with Cameron Alexander Dallas?'
The answer to that... Yes. Yes I am. This is reality and it's taken for granted.
Matt finally took off my blindfold and I couldn't believe what I saw. He gave me one last super tight hug before I walked into the little mini cave like structure. It had red, pink and white streamers hanging in the entrance way and they flowed with the slight wind like the leaves of a tree. I walked through the streamers and what I saw was beautiful. There were fairy lights hanging everywhere and cute little cut outs of red paper hearts scattered everywhere too. In the middle of the... Well let's call it a room with a sandy floor. In the middle of the room (with a sandy floor), was a small round wooden table and there were more paper hearts scattered on the table. There was a cute setup of the cutlery and it was just gorgeous. There were three candles in the middle. One pink, one red and one white. They were lit and the flames were pure white. How that's possible, I don't know but I think it's something like fire chalk if that makes sense. I took one last look at the amazing scene I was in and then I noticed the one and only Cameron Dallas standing in the corner of the room. A massive smile spread across my face that was, until I realised that he was probably there the whole time and I probably looked completely dumbfounded.
"We're you there the whole time?" I asked embarrassed with my cheeks blushed like crazy, but I then tried to control my blushing.
"Yeah. I was and it's cute when you blush Asha. Don't hide it." He chuckled. This made me blush even more but as he requested, I didn't hide it. He was wearing a black tux and his hair was quiffed as usual. He had a bouquet of white roses in his hand. I already knew this was going to be an amazing date. I knew that as soon as I found the note on my door though...
He pulled out my chair and he then handed me the roses and then kissed me on the cheek just before I sat down.
I'm 100% aware that it was just a kiss on the cheek but it sent an amazing sensation through my body, from head to toe, from the tip of my hair held up to the bottom of my feet on tippy toes. It felt like a million butterflies brushing their wings against my skin. I quickly snapped out of my daydream as the warm smell of enchiladas came to me. (Just had to add Cam's favourite food. 😂👌🏼). Cam smiled at me as he said "Enjoy Princess".
I blushed once again before beginning to eat my enchiladas.
•JACK G'S POV•
It killed me to see Asha walk out the back door with Matt to her DATE with Cameron. Yes I am extremely jealous. I'm sure you would be to if the girl you love was walking to a date with one of you're best friends. I guess I should backtrack a bit as to why I like Asha so much.
We've been at school together since kindergarten. I remember walking into class on my first day with her and sitting in my seat with her next to me. Then a short boy with blonde hair came and sat next to me. He was wearing the exact same shirt as me too. He introduced himself and told me his name was Jack Johnson. From then on Johnson and Asha were my best friends of all time. Right through primary. Then high school came around and all the MagCon boys started at the same school as Jack J, Ash and I. Magcon only started last year but we've all been brothers (and sisters) since the start of high school. The only thing that sucked about all of us being best friends was that Asha was sure to have a crush on at least one of the guys and that guy just so happened to be Cam. The only guy that wouldn't shut up about her when she wasn't around. It sucked so freaking much when she told me she liked him because she would always come to me for advice. I would try to give her positive and true advice but I realise now that jealousy got the better of me sometimes. Then the flirting from Cam started. He simply couldn't help himself. I'm honestly surprised it took him this long to ask her out though. Anyway, last year Asha went on a holiday with her family for a month and all the guys were completely theirselves. All insane (in a good way) but still fun and calm when they needed to be, which wasn't very often but still... Then Ash came back and everyone went back to not being theirselves. I never asked her out because of how much she liked Cam. It's crazy how much one girl can change everything.
