Just like that after getting a earful from our leader Joon aka RM, I took the whole day off. Neither of the boys let me set foot on the floor. I slept the whole day Jin sent food to my bed.
I woke up before sunrise to complete my last file. Ian slept cuddling with me warmly wrapped his hands around me. I quitely look at his peaceful sleepy face and pecked his boopy nose before carefully getting out of bed. I bumped into kookie before leaving the room. He softly hugged me wishing good morning.
I straight went to the CORTEX and started working on it right away. I was feeling so fresh and energetic cuz of full day rest the previous day thanks to Joon. Now I'm working double active.
It's 9 am and I got a call on office table. I picked up knowing it's one of the boys or Ian. I received the call and instantly recognising owner of the voice.
"Good morning to you too jinniee"..
...
Yeah.. I'll be done in like half an hour..
....
Hahah alright.....
....
Yeah, I'll be there in 20 min... Don't let anyone touch mine...
.....

I hung up the call and dive into my work with extra speed. Why? Because Jin just informed me that my breakfast is in danger. Predators preying my yummy lovely breakfast. After exactly 15min I read the file I drafted fot the one last time cross checked and hit the save and submit button eargerly getting up from the chair and ran downstairs.
As expected Jungkook and Jimin are preying my breakfast while Jin and taehyung are shooing them haha. "I'm here I'm here I'm here.." I went there panting claiming my breakfast.
Meanwhile others settled on the table, Ian too. We're all eating with little chatter untill I cleared my throat to gain attention.
"So, Joon" I drew a deep breath
"I took the whole day off yesterday took rest and today I woke up thanks to you I'm feeling much better and energetic and finished my last flie.... " I said looking at Joon. He flashed his dimple smile
" I'm glad you got some rest Ella... And.. seems like you want to say something moree.. right?" Joon asked wiggling his brows. I smiled sheepishly nodding
"go on.." he allowed.
"Umm... Now that I'm done with my paper work I got one last thing left to do... I want a solid evidence so I need to visit the places and gather em personally... Would it be okay if I go today and close the case it all for once.." I explained. Joon hummed taking his time.
"Okay.... You can go---" I squeaked Clapping my hands
"thanks Jo---" I got cut off by Joon
"BUTTT" is all enough for my excitement to go down. I pouted looking at him with puppy eyes
"but... You're not going alone.. take someone with you... You don't know what happens soo.. when shit goes down you'll have back up yeah..." Joon said more like finalised.
"See those puppy eyes, that's why we're scared to send you alone bun" Jin comforted. Atleast they're sending me on my mission.
"Alright... Although I love working alone... I can't keep you guys worrying about me ... " I agreed. A smile crept on everyone's face.
"Who's coming with me ..!" I asked finishing my breakfast. Four hands raised. Jimin, Jungkook, taehyung, Ian. Of course these four leaches. I scoffed getting up
"what??" They'll Said in unison.
"CORTEX now... We need a plan " I said.
They'll got up in hurry and we'll followed into the CORTEX once again. Just as I'm about to start yoongs entered. We'll look at him like what you coming?.
