chapter 23. DD

The car finally came to rest. We stepped out not sure if we can walk further or not.

"Go on" Jungkook said sweetly smiling.

I hesitantly went forward took few more steps and now I see a cliff. Woowwwwww my eyes sparkled. I pushed myself to the edge of the cliff in wonderment.

"Careful" three voices from behind I payed no ear.

Someone grabbed my hand make me step back a little bit. It's taehyung.

"Loookkkkk it's beautiful... " I said squealing.

The boys just adored my excitement. We four stood at the end of the cliff feeling the breeze. Me and Ian stood in between Taehyung and Jungkook holding hands.

"HEYY QUEEENSSSS IT'S ME OLIVIA GREY NICE TO MEET YOUU... " I shouted my lungs out smiling widely. The boys just giggled at my craziness.

"Don't mind her. She just love cliffs and back at our place she had a place like this back at our place" Ian explained her excitement.

Both men laughed adoring. taehyung and Jungkook laid a small blankets few feet away. Jungkook took Ian while me and taehyung stayed in the same place. Taehyung and I settled comfortably on the blanket still enjoying the view. I absolutely love cliffs.

The sky is painted in gold and orange and the sun is now visiblely orange. The birds flying over to their nests. Gentle wind kissing our skins. I'm lost in my own thoughts admiring the view. Tae cleared his throat to grab my attention. I turned towards him with questioning eyes.

"Sorry to interrupt your train of thoughts but..." He opened his Palm revealing a big chocolate bar. My eyes more sparkled with joy.

"Since you guys bought me here I'll give my time to you" I said glancing at the sky.

" I seriously don't wanna disturb you enjoying the moment but I can't it either this is one of those few chances we can be together apart from work" taehyung confessed his thought.

"Yeah... You're right... " I said looking at him. He's already looking at me. His eyes held pure adoration.

"You know you could've won 1000 bucks if you agreed to that bet I made in that restaurant" I said in disappointment.

"Ellaa.... Seriously.... How could you.... You're unbelievable at times you know". I just sheepishly laughed at him. I shared my chocolate to him. I'm not that selfish okay. He gladly took a bite.

"So... Why do love cliffs.." taehyung asked hesitantly.

I glanced at him for a moment gave him a sweet smile that I'm okay he felt relieved. I again glanced shift my focus on the view in front of me.

"It makes me feel so good." I began to talk

"It makes me realise that I'm too a part of the this world and it also makes me realise that I'm a bit more than the people living down ... I have responsibilities to fulfill. It also reminds me that I should protect the city. It also makes me feel closer to the clouds so when I pray I believe my prayers carried up fast. It makes me feel I'm closer to stars so I can talked to my loved ones I miss" I explained.

A thin layer of water formed in my eyes. The wind gently kissing. An arm snaked around my shoulder pulling a bit closer towards him. I feel warm. Tae slowly rubbing my shoulder.

"I never knew a cliff hides these amazing wise perspectives" taehyung said looking at the view.

I chuckled a little and hummed along. I leaned more into his touch laid my head on his broad chest then lifting my head to catch a glimpse of him. He seems calm like always. The golden rays reflecting his skin making him more beautiful under the sunset.
