Chapter eleven

As the lunch bell rang and we caught up and with Toby and Caleb and that’s when he was a little surprised to see me and Toby back together but that I was there at all. That’s when we chatted and then headed off to our next class, as we did Toby walked me to my class and then kissed me in front of Mona and then walked off to his class and I walked into mine and joined Aria at our desk. After I sat down, Mona walked in and Aria said “what happened to her?” I replied “I think she’s a little annoyed between me and Toby!” and that’s when we looked at Mona before concentrating on our work. As the lessons passed and the big test lesson came and we all sat there working away and then as time ticked by one by one we each finished the exam. After we finished the exam, we happily walked out knowing we did our best. After that we met up with Toby and Caleb and the boys asked “so how did you all do?” Hannah and I replied “perfectly well as always!” and everyone smiled and we cheered and Toby and I kissed as Hannah and Caleb kissed to.

After the big day at school, the girls headed home to make sure everything was set for tomorrow night. With that Hannah and I walked in and I went into my room and found Toby standing there and said “sorry guess I could have used the front door, but it couldn’t wait!” and that’s when I walked over to him, as he held out his hands he held three boxes and said “I hope these each go with the dress, Jenna helped me pick them out – plus to show how much I care about you!” and we kissed and I took the boxes and put them on my desk and he said “you’re not even gonna look first?” I looked back at him and replied “nope, I trust you and Jenna was there so what could possible go wrong” and that’s when we kissed again and Toby said “well if I can’t see the dress can you at least tell me what colour it is?” I smiled and then replied “oh ok, it’s red and black” and Toby smiled and replied “two of the colours that suit you most!” I replied “aww thanks” and Toby left as I went to be with Hannah.

The next day flew passed and the girls were at Hannah’s place getting ready and that’s when I was helping them and when they were finished Hannah said “shouldn’t you be getting ready?” I replied “I will, I’m gonna met you guys there remember - it’s a surprise!” and the four girls with Caleb and Toby left to the ball and that’s when I went into my room and pulled out the box and then went for a shower and then dried and dressed, did my hair and put on the jewellery that Toby had given me before putting on my shoes and grabbing my bag and making sure I had my phone and a few other little things and then went and got in the limo and as it pulled up at the school, I got out and put my mask on and grabbed my bag and then walked over and then into the room with everyone else and as I did everyone stopped and looked. With that Aria and the girls turned and looked and that’s when Aria said “hey Toby, your girl just arrived!” and that’s when Toby turned around and looked and he noticed the jewellery and that it went perfectly with the dress and that’s when he walked up to me as everyone else watched us walk down the stairs and over to the rest of them and even Jenna couldn’t help but smile – to know that her brother was finally happy with someone special.

After that everyone turned and looked as Mona walked in and joined the ball and that’s when just by the look in her eye - I knew she was annoyed that Hannah was wearing the right dress and that’s when she walked over and said “hey everyone, having a good time!” everyone looked at her and I replied “hey Mona, we’re having a great time – nice dress by the way similar to the one Hannah had…guess she found something different!” that’s when Mona looked at me all happily standing next to Toby with his arm around me chatting to the group like nothing ever happened. That’s when Mona stormed off and everyone went back to having a great time parting and dancing away the night. As the time ticked by and I remembered the motel room that I and Toby had found and that’s when Toby and Caleb offered to get everyone drinks and when they were gone I and the girls huddled together and I explained about the motel room and that’s when we chatted about that and that’s when I noticed a mystery man standing in the shadows with a mask and that’s when I said “don’t look now Aria but I think you have an admirer!” and that’s when I looked up and I pointed and she seen him and she walked away and that’s when I looked around and that’s when Spencer found someone to dance with and even Paige surprisingly turned up to surprise Emily and that’s when Caleb came back and said “Toby said to apologise but Jenna wanted a dance…” that’s when I nodded and the couple left to dance and that’s when I walked outside and Mona joined me and that’s when Mona cond me to take a look at something she’d found and that’s when we left for a drive.
