Chapter 16

Jessica's POV

"I am leaving, sweetheart. Don't miss me too much." Andy said as he kissed my forehead.

"Enjoy yourself and come soon baby." I pecked his lips.

"Well, I have already called Bell to company you. Okay? I will be back by tomorrow morning." He informed me before leaving finally.

Andy is going out with his friends tonight. They are having a boys night kind of thing. He hasn't gone out with his friends for months that's why I gave him permission.

Yup, he actually asked for my permission. He is surely the perfect husband material.

It's been a month since I confessed my feelings for him. A lot has changed in this one month.

We have started planning for our marriage slowly. Bella is very excited to design our wedding clothes.

Even my relationship with Jae has changed a lot during this month. He calls me almost everyday. The awkwardness has completely left my mind and now I talk freely with him. I also call him sometimes.

I even made him talk to Bella once. Bella was so so so happy that day. She has been literally following my every order after that day.

I also got to know a lot about him within this time period. He told me that I am his only friend. This was like a surprise to me. From that day, I feel that my responsibility as his friend has increased.

He lives with his mother. I even talked to her once. She is really a sweet lady. I guess she also liked me a lot.

By now, we know each other's likes and dislikes. The first time he asked me about my favorites... I was really hesitant.

How was I supposed to tell him that almost all my favorite things are somehow related to him??

But slowly the hesitation vanished and I got comfortable with him.

And to add to my surprise, he is a crazy foodie. I wonder how he manages his body in perfect shape after eating just anything that is edible.

The only thing that I regret is not being able to tell him about Andy. I feel that he should know about us because he is also my good friend now. But Andy doesn't want him to know about us. And I respect his choice.

My phone made a vibrating sound...it was Bell's call.

"Hey, where are you?" I asked her.

"Just outside your house. Come, open the door." She answered.

"Outside? Coming. Just a minute."

I went and opened the door.

"Why didn't you ring the bell today?" I said as we sat on the couch in the hall.

"Just because." She smiled sheepishly.

"Just because?" I raised my brows.

"Just because." She smiled again.

"Ohh God, Bell. You know that you are crazy, right?"

"I have to be crazy in order to be your friend."

"Yeah, right." I rolled my eyes and we both started laughing.

"Have you ordered something to eat?" She asked.

"Yup, the food is ready. Let's set the movie and then we can start."

"Okay, sure."

We decided to watch another of Jae's movies called "The First Kiss". I scrunched my nose on hearing the name but Bella forced me to watch it just to tease me to death.
