I packed some of my clothes, passport and some of the other important things. Luckily, I got a plane ticket immediately to Seoul, South Korea. I had also informed Smith about my arrival and the flight details.

To be honest, I had actually memorized the whole map of Seoul, still I didn't want to take a risk. I had asked him to pick me up so that I could straightway go and meet Jae.

"I am leaving, Bell. Inform Andy about all this. Ask him to call me when he comes home." I hugged her.

"Why don't you inform him yourself?" Came her reply.

"You know that if I tell him all this, he will never let me go. So, please Bell understand my situation and help me out." Another tear flowed down my cheeks.

"Okay, Jessi. Don't cry. I will help you. Okay? Give me a call when you reach there." She hugged me and rubbed my back.

The flight tickets were quite expensive but not more than Jae's health. I could atleast do this much for my friend.

It took me almost 15 hours to reach Seoul finally. It was already Sunday noon.

May be it was really quick to take such a big decision.

I had traveled by plane after a very long time. My back, feet and neck started aching the moment I stepped down from the plane.

I was really worried about him because a lot could have happened in those 15 hours. I tried to call him many times but he never replied. Though, I was continously in touch with Smith, I was unsure of Jae's condition.

Smith was already waiting for me outside the airport. I couldn't recognise him initially because I had seen him only once. Surprisingly, he recognised me instantly. I didn't really have the time and patience to ask him the reasons.

He immediately drove me to the hospital where Jae's mother was admitted.

Smith informed me that the doctors had to perform an immediate operation to save his mother. The operation was completed but it's successfulness will be calculated according to the way in which her heart and body would respond to it. They will keep her under observation for another 24 hours.

All this information was enough to tell that her condition was really critical which meant that Jae must be really worried and this in turn scared me even more.

After a drive of almost one hour, we reached the hospital. Jae's bodyguards were standing outside the hospital and no media person was allowed to enter in 1 km area around the hospital. Because of this only, I could reach the place without getting caught by anyone. Smith led me to the room where Jae's mother was admitted.

I got stunned as I entered the room. His mother was lying on the bed unconscious. IV tubes were attached to her hand and she was breathing with the help of an oxygen mask. Her bed was surrounded by  a lot of monitors which had various lines running up and down in a zip zag manner.

This all reminded me of my own mother. She was exactly in the same condition when I saw her the last time. She also had a similar oxygen mask. She had removed her mask to talk to me. Immediately, blood started dripping out of her mouth.

That whole scene started flashing in my mind. Her words were echoing in my ears. In no time, she was standing right in front of me extending her hand to me. I held it immediately, she smiled at me and then disappeared into thin air. I looked here and there...everywhere but couldn't find her.

Everything became a bit blurry. It took me a second to take in my surroundings and then only did I understand that my mother had come to give me strength to face that situation.
