"I'm waiting, Simon."

Simon looked around. The starless sky contained the crescent moon which shined brightly.

"What did she say?" Simon asked.

Eleanor rolled her eyes. "Simon, just get to the point."

"She's seeing the past." Simon said, which is exactly what Jeanette said to Eleanor. "Through physical contact, she's able to see an object's history. If it's enhanced, she could see the past of another being."

That's why he tested her by holding his wrist.

"Of another being?"

Simon nodded. "Whether chipmunk or some other animal, even humans. If she enhanced her ability, she'll be able to do that."

Eleanor nodded which prompted Simon to continue.

"It's not a myth, or a legend. It's a field of science which doesn't hold any proof of existence...until now that is."

"So...she's having some weird powers that could see the past?"

"That's not how I'll put it, but yes." Simon nodded lightly.

"Why did she have it and when?"

"Less than a week, but I'm still thinking as of why. Did she touch any strange thing?"

"The only strange thing are your experiments, Simon."

"I-I'll take that." Simon rubbed his head once again. "It's called Psychometry."

"Psycho what?"

"Psychometry."

"Psychometry." Eleanor pondered. "Is that why there are so many books on your table?"

Simon nodded.

"Does Theodore know?"

Simon shakes his head.

"Alvin?"

"I...don't know."

"What do you mean 'you don't know'?"

"Alvin keeps sneaking on me and Jeanette, a lot."

Eleanor snorted. "Classic."

Simon glared at Eleanor.

"Seriously, Simon, can't we do anything about it?"

"Wait, wait. 'We'?"

"Yeah." Eleanor's green eyes stared in suspicion. "Is there any problem?"

Simon shakes his head while stuttering. "N-no. N-not at all."

"So we'll do something about it, yes?"

"Jeanette said--"

"I'll convince her." Eleanor said before Simon could even finish.

"If you mean removing her 'powers' then that's impossible."

"Ok. So we'll improve it?"

"If-if she wants to."

"What if she wanted to get rid of it?"

"I-I don't know. I-I don't think that's--"

"A great idea, I get it."

They heard the utensils in the kitchen crash, which left the two munks suspicious.

"Alvin." gritted Simon.

Meanwhile, Theodore tried to escape from the fallen utensils, which happened to fall from an apple. A mere apple.
