~One Year Later~

"Orhan, Shut your mouth before we get caught!"

"That wasn't even me! That was Kayi!" Orhan whispered back sharply.

Melike rolled her eyes and snapped her fingers, "All of you, Shh."

Aylah followed closely behind Melike, she wore a sunset orange dress, reaching just below her knees. They reached the end of the corridor, which opened to the large center of the Sogut's inn. Melike pressed herself against the wall before carefully peeking out.

There, Osman Bey stood talking to the governor of a nearby castle, but their conversation was anything but friendly. The air was tense and the tekfur only seemed to get angrier with every minute.

"Orhan, Aylah," Melike mouthed silently and tilted her head to the other side of the Inn. Aylah nodded and the two kids slowly backed away, careful to not make any noise. Then, they hurried to the other side of the Inn, making sure they didn't run into any of the alps.

Aylah ducked behind the stone wall before carefully looking out. Melike gave a quick thumbs-up before watching the conversation take place.

From there, Aylah could see exactly what was happening. The Tekfur's two commanders were shifting on their feet angrily as if they couldn't stand another second of the conversation. But, it was something else that caught their attention. The hidden daggers which the commanders were going to reach for.

Osman Bey spotted his daughter as she spied in on the situation. Sighing internally, he gave her a swift look. But, Melike shook her head and pointed to the commanders' backs. There was nothing Osman really could do, without revealing that Melike was there. At least, he didn't know the other 3 were there as well... yet.

"Oh no, she's not really going to do that- is she?" Orhan whispered as his sister took a brazen step forward. "Your sister is insane, Orhan," Aylah whispered back, "I'm aware." Said Orhan dryly.

Melike very carefully stepped behind the two commanders without making a sound. Orhan held his breath as he stood behind Aylah, "Jeez, Orhan, calm down." "Try having Melike for sister, we'll see how calm you are, Aylah," Orhan retorted, keeping his voice low.

Melike was right behind the commander now, and Osman held his hands behind his back, hiding his anxious fidgeting. (Osman actually does this in the show, but he keeps his hands behind his back, which makes it seem like he's calm and collected. Smart.)

Melike gently pulled the dagger out of the first commander's belt but froze when the commander shifted as if he would turn around. 'Throw it!' Aylah mouthed and Melike quickly tossed the dagger to Aylah and ducked behind one of the tables.

Orhan grabbed Aylah and pulled her back behind the stone wall as the commander turned around and fortunately, didn't suspect a thing. Orhan let out a breath, "That was insane, Aylah, what would you do if you didn't catch it?"

Aylah shrugged, grinning at him, "I did catch it though." Orhan gave her a look, but they both turned back to see Melike slowly getting up and walking towards the second commander, hoping to disarm him as well.

Once Melike had successfully disarmed the second commander, Aylah tossed the other dagger back to her. "Osman Bey, Know your limits," The first commander fumed angrily as Melike casually went and sat upon one on the tables, still completely overlooked.

In a flash, both commanders attempted to grab their previously concealed weapons, and Osman smirked as the two men turned in confusion. Melike grinned, whistling and tossing one of the daggers in the air, "Looking for these?"

"Maybe you should train your soldiers better," Osman advised mockingly, smiling in satisfaction as they stormed out of the room angrily. Osman sighed once, dropping his hands to his side and turning to his daughter.

"Melike," He then paused, "Aylah, Kayi, Orhan, I know you're here too." The other three slowly walked out, standing next to Melike. "Now," said Osman, leaning with his hands on the table in front of him, "Explain why exactly you four are here, in five words or less."

"This wasn't part of the plan," Kayi said slowly, counting the words over in his head. "6 words, My nephew, 6 words," Osman shook his head, "Melike?"

"Out for a walk, Canim Baba'm," Melike says sweetly, making Osman raise his eyebrows, an amused expression cast on his face. "Nice try, but no. Aylah?"

Aylah thought for a moment before counting on her fingers as she spoke, "I blame Melike."

Orhan snickered as Osman chuckled, "Thank you for being the first one to use five or fewer words. Orhan, what do you have to say?"

"This was all Melike's idea."

"Hey!"

Before the twins could start arguing, Osman held a hand up, "Alright listen, you guys need to be a little more careful. You don't always end up lucky. Understand?"

When all four nodded, Osman spoke again, "Now, I want you guys to go outside, and go do something normal, okay? And Melike, please stop messing with the alps, they're trying to do their jobs."

"Fine," Melike said grudgingly, and Aylah grinned, "Describe normal.

"Aylah."

"Okay, okay, we're going-"
