Aylah and Orhan followed the cloaked man into the woods, hiding behind a thick tree. The man looked around for a moment and tucked the scroll into a minuscule compartment made into the base of the tree. The man checked around before walking off.

"What the hell are you two doing?!"

Aylah and Orhan jumped about a foot in the air, "Melike- What, how did you even get here?" Orhan sputtered as he saw his sister and Kayi behind them. Aylah took a glance back at the clearing as Melike rolled her eyes, "We followed you, Dummy, what else?"

"You ruined our perfect espionage!" Aylah blinked, "What espionage?" The twins merely ignored the question and Kayi shrugged. "You can't have a perfect espionage without me!" Melike countered, and Aylah facepalmed, "Both of you, please shut up."

(A/N: 2 pennies says Osman's the one who taught them what espionage is.)

"Someone's going to come to pick that message up, and we're going to find out who."  Aylah pointed out the obvious, though it didn't seem so obvious to her friends. "It might take a while, Aylah, and we sort of just left without saying anything," Kayi added, giving a glance back to the bazaar.

Aylah sighed, "Well..." "How about we just watch for a little bit? And if nothing happens, we can come back later." Orhan suggested and Melike nodded, "They're not going to notice us gone that fast, are they?"

Aylah kept her eyes on the clearing and the sound of footsteps reached her ear. She held up a hand, "Shhh, someone's coming."

The three behind her fell silent, slowly ducking down. Aylah listened carefully, trying to focus on the noise. The noise grew heavier, louder, and closer. Aylah slowly set her hand on her dagger, she didn't know if she'd have to use it, but it made her feel a little safer.

A small troop of soldiers walked into the clearing, dressed in the white and red uniforms of the Byzantine army. They carried their large, bulky shields as they surrounded a man in the center. Aylah saw a glint of a crown.

One of the soldiers at the front bent down to open the compartment, pulling out the scroll of parchment and handing it to the man in the center. "Who is that?" Aylah whispered softly and the twins shook their heads silently. "Don't know," Orhan mouthed.

The man in the center stepped forward and took the letter, giving the four a better look of his face. A gold crown sat perched upon his head, gems encrusted into it. It was clear he took pride in his appearance. He wasn't as old as the other tekfurs, on the contrary, he seemed quite young with his blond hair and a light beard.

Just as he was about to unroll the parchment, Aylah felt the cold metal of a dagger against her throat.

"Well, well, well, What do we have here?"

Aylah's eyes widened as she was forced up to her feet. "Crap," Melike swore as they were forced to stand. "Komutan, these pests were spying on us." The man behind Aylah called out, "Pests? I'll show you who's a pest, you piece of-" Melike taunted, but the man behind pushed her forward, "Walk."

Aylah tried to pull her wrists out of his grip as he pushed her forward and into the clearing. "Çocuklar, what are you doing here?" His tone was kind as he mocked them and Aylah scowled.

"What are sweet children like you doing out here in the woods?" He continued, placing a hand on Orhan's hair. Orhan shook him off, his glare making the man move away slightly in apprehension.

"I could ask you the same, what are you doing in our lands?" Orhan asked harshly, making the commander smile, "Your lands? I think you are mistaken, boy." "I think you're the one who's mistaken." Orhan and Melike spoke at once, both of them narrowing their eyes.

"Twins, are you? Now, I think I do know who you are," His smile remained the same, looking down upon them. "Answer the question, what are you doing on our land?" Kayi repeated, his sea-colored eyes growing darker. "You are in no position to question me, young man, I could have you all killed in a second."

"You can't kill us," Aylah spoke up finally, making the man turn to her, "Why ever not, little girl?" Aylah swallowed, questions raced through her head. Did he know who they were? If he didn't, would it be worse to tell him?

Before she could say anything, the commander laughed, "You were going to say you are Kayis, Turks." The four exchanged glances, "Do you think I am stupid?" Melike looked him dead in the eye and blurted out, "Yes."

Aylah smiled slightly, but it faded as the man took a dangerously close step towards Melike. He tilted her head towards him with his finger. Orhan struggled against their grip, "Don't touch my sister!" He yelled, taking a step forward.

"Has anyone ever taught you to shut up, girl?" The kindness in his tone vanished, but Melike grinned. "You say you know who I am. My father is Osman Bey, Do you really think he taught me to shut up?"

The commander started to laugh, "Now I really do believe you, but worry not, I won't kill you." "Then what do you want?" Aylah asked, growing increasingly frustrated by his calm attitude. He turned back to face her, "You made the decision to spy on me, and you will be the one to pay for it."

"Tie them up, I will figure out what to do with them."

A/N: Well, well, well, what has the F a b u l o u s  F o u r  done now?

If you guys haven't noticed it, Orhan is very much like Bala, he's protective of everyone, and it's adorable. Anyway, I'm currently working on figuring out the gang's MBTI personality types, so I'll let you guys know when I've gotten those worked out.

Also, Boran looks so broken in these recent episodes and it's making me so freaking sad.

Salaam and Have a great day!
