(Hey guys, sorry it's been a while, but I've got some action planned for this chapter, so enjoy!)

Aylah caught the quiet murmurs of the people conversing in the square of Sogut, exchanging a worried look with her friends as they weaved between people in an attempt to get to the front.

A Seljuk soldier climbed up on a ladder, removing the blue flags from the walls of the inn.  Another pair of soldiers, dressed in signature navy blue walked upon the square, unrolling a piece of parchment.

"By the order of Sultan Mesud of the mighty Seljuk state, Kayi Bey Ertugrul Gazi oglu Osman Bey is no longer Margrave of the Turk tribes on the border."

Simuntanues gasps broke out among the crowd, and Aylah turned to the twins who wore matching scowls. "What?! They can't just do that, can they?" Melike hissed, and Orhan shook his head firmly, "No. This isn't right."

"What are you saying, soldier?" Gunduz Bey questioned, taking a step forward. "Osman Emmi went to Konya," Kayi said, eyes still set upon the flag being removed from the walls, "Something must have happened."

"Osman Bey has rebelled and fallen from the Sultan's eyes. The new Margrave will resume his position." The soldier relayed, reading from the parchment. Melike marched up to him before Aylah had the mind to stop her.

"Who? Who is going to take my father's position?" Melike asked, a clear challenge set in her eyes, "Enlighten please." Aylah, Kayi and Orhan were right by here side. It was a silent understanding, wherever they went, they went together.

"I will!" A voice rang out and the people parted as a man marched forward, chin up in pride. "Inal Bey of Dordurga." Aylah raised an eyebrow, was the bar to become a margrave really this low?

"As Osman Bey has rebelled against his state, I have been chosen by the Sultan to control these borders, I will restore these lands to their original glory." Melike glared harder, but it was Orhan who spoke, "What glory? You mean back when infidels roamed freely with no boundaries?"

Inal Bey didn't even bat an eye at them like they were nothing more than the dirt under his boots. "The Sultan has personally chosen me as the best choice to cleanse these lands from its treachery," He continued, speaking to the crowd- not them.

"Well, the Sultan should get his vision checked then," Aylah muttered in annoyance, making Kayi smirk as the soldiers gave her a dirty look.

"Watch your tongue, you cannot speak of our Sultan in that manner," The soldier snarled. Kayi took a step in front of Aylah, standing in the soldier's way. "Another step and you'll be sorry," Kayi said simply, looking the man dead in the eye despite the difference in their height.

"Kayi," Gunduz Bey's hand was at his shoulder, gently bringing him and Aylah away. He brought the twins back as well, bending down slightly to reach their level. "Listen, I need you four to go back to the tribe with some of the alps. Tell Davut Bey to come here as soon as he can. Okay?" The four nodded, "And most importantly, Stay. In. The. Tribe. Don't go anywhere."

Aylah sighed, crossing her arms grudgingly. As if she would want to stay in the tribe while trouble was gathering up in their very city. Melike seemed to have to same thought in mind, "And we're supposed to do nothing as some idiot takes my father's position?" "Melike, you four are too young to get involved in this right now!"

"I'm 13!" Kayi retorted.

"And we're 12," The twins.

"And I'm 11," Aylah tried to say with the same tone, but seeing as she was the youngest it didn't really have the same effect. "Still children," Gunduz responded around a sigh, "I will take care of this, go back to the tribe."

"Fiiiine," Melike drew out, turning around and walking towards the stables. "Please, we're not that easy to convince, are we?" Melike grinned once their uncle was out of earshot. Orhan grinned back, "Course not, we're Uncalled Four! Get it? Four?"

Aylah groaned painfully at his joke, "Orhan, just no, that was awful." "Oh, come on, Aylah! That one was actually good." Melike shook her head, "I'm going to pretend you didn't say that, Kardesh. We've got things to do, first things first, back to the tribe."

"Davut Ustadh!" The four hopped off their horses, Aylah with a bit of difficulty. But, one of the alps offered her help, "I can do it, it's fine," She insisted and the alp took a step back uncertainly. Aylah pushed off from the saddle, landing unevenly on her feet. "Ow... See, I told you I could do it."

By the time, Aylah caught up to her friends, they were already spilling the story to the Ironsmith. "May Allah protect us from these troubles," He said after they had finished the story, Davut Bey headed to the stables, heading to Sogut.

"So, what's next?" "Tell Ana?" Orhan suggested and Melike shook her head, "She'll find out anyway!" "But, we have to tell her!" The twins stared each other down.

This time Orhan won apparently. Aylah wasn't exactly sure how that worked out, but she went along with it.

"Orhan, Melike, what happened?" Bala hatun asked as the four ran into the Marquee where she was sitting Gonca, looking over the new rugs. The four begin talking at once, and Bala holds a hand, "Slowly, sit down. Now, tell me, one at a time."

"We were at Sogut-"

"And this Seljuk guy comes up-"

"And takes the flags down!"

"And then this other guy goes up saying Emmi isn't the Margrave anymore!"

"Which is stupid-"

"Cause Baba's been margrave for forever!"

"And then this other guy, Inal Bey or whatever-"

"Saying he's the Margrave, and he called Baba a traitor!"

"That piece of shi-"

"Melike, language!"

"Sorry."

Melike shrugged sheepishly before continuing, "And then he ignored us!" "Shockingly, the world didn't end," "Shut it, Kayi."

"Osman Bey was still in Konya, Bala," Gonca said and Bala nodded grimly, "Something must have happened in the palace." "But, Ana, the palace is practically overrun with Mongols, it's not safe there," Orhan said worriedly, wringing his hand in his lap.

"I know, Oglu'm, I know."

They were outside again, walking just as aimlessly as before, "They can't just remove Baba from his position without blaming him for something." Orhan pointed out and Aylah nodded, "We've just got to figure out what he's being accused of."

"We'll show them what it means to mess with Kayis," Melike said, determination already set in her voice.

"But, I'm Kayi."

"You get my point."

A/N: Well, well, I wonder what our fabulous four is going to do next...

This will be similar to what Osman goes through in these last few episodes, but I'm going to change it up. I hope you all are doing well and are still alive. If you are by any chance dead already, that's unfortunate. (I don't know what I'm saying anymore.)

Anyways, my birthday is tomorrow! So happy birthday to me, I shall be 14. It also snowed two days ago, which is very rare considering I live in the South, but snow makes me very happy. They also canceled school on Thursday and Friday, so that's a bonus.

That's all that's been going on in my life, so Salaam and Have a great day!
